This video is intended for entertainment purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. I am, indeed, just a goober on the internet. Don't come here for medical advice. Sheesh. FAQ's: 1. No, I don't work there. I already have a day job. 2. No, the employees don't ask me what I'm doing. 3. No, the employees don't get excited when I walk in. I do this maybe three times a year, often in different locations. I'm not in any particular store often enough to become a "regular" in any way. 4. No, my arm doesn't get tired from holding the phone like that. 5. No, I will not strap on a GoPro to make these videos. That's just weird-looking and totally not something I care to do. 6. No, I didn't place that thing incorrectly just to bother you. 7. Yes, I probably should find something better to do. Perhaps I can spend my time watching someone do this on KZbin. 8. No, I don't know how long it's going to be before I do another one of those videos that you like better than this, but I'm sure it's coming soon. 9. No, I don't want to whisper these videos. Even for me, that feels weird and uncomfortable. 10. No, I really don't care what other people think when they see me doing this. 11. They aren't paying a bunch of people to sit and watch me on the security camera, so no, they're not discussing what I'm doing. 12. Yes, I truly do this because it makes me happy. 13. No, I don't have OCD. 14. No, the employees never thank me for doing this. I doubt they ever even noticed. 15. Saying "flavor" rather than "scent" is a running joke. People complained about it, so I will now do it for all of eternity. 16. No, no one in the store has ever offered me a job after seeing me do this. 17. Yes, it’s SUPER expensive. 18. Yes, it’s SUPER inexpensive. Now that that's settled, we can sit back and just enjoy the video. 😊 ❤

I'm a new fan but I knew just watching your dollar tree videos you had to have SOME pharmacy background. As a pharmacy tech myself (hospital & retail too) who is also married to a pharmacist of 30+ years, I find these videos 10x more satisfying than any other ASMR. Thank you for making such informative and satisfying content 🩷

I love your videos Mary! You’re the sweetest! Actually people should avoid using Benadryl for allergies and use second generation antihistamines like Zyrtec, Allegra, xyzal. Benadryl is an anticholinergic(plus an antihistamine)which blocks acetylcholine in the brain. Which is responsible for sending messages between cells. The know now taking too much Benadryl can cause Alzheimer’s, dementia & possibly more. I have MCAS which is a disease where my body makes way too much histamine so any tiny bit added from food, stress(histamine helps us heal. When injured it’s first defense to help healing), extreme heat or cold, chemicals, medicine, scents(parfum, cologne, cleaners, etc). Histamine is also what wakes you up in the morning. Your histamine levels rise and you wake up. That’s why if u take an anti histamine you get tired. It’s not the meds making u tired. It’s lowering ur histamine which keeps you awake. Histamine gradually lowers all day and is the lowest in evenings so we fall asleep. After dealing w this terrible disease I like to educate people about it, the dangers of Benadryl & the poisons put into our foods(I cannot eat anything processed, preservatives, food dye, no chemicals of any kind) but I love fresh veggies, fruits & meats. I still react to them but not as severely(I have a very bad case & have seen the best drs in NY & my case is too complicated for them). With a mast cell disease I have excessive levels of histamine in my body(yes insomnia sucks unless I go into anaphylaxis then my bp drops & I blessedly pass out. I’m on meds & a little better than I was a yr ago so my bp doesn’t fall below 60/40 & I don’t need epi. A little hypoxia is good for the soul 😂). The main symptoms of this disease is anaphylaxis (to foods, but also chemicals, scents, exercise, pain, stress, extreme temps), facial flushing, hives, rashes, extreme bone, muscle, joint, abdominal, head, sinus, throat pain(most don’t have it this severe. I may have mastocytosis which is a more severe form of this disease but I cannot get bone marrow or intestinal biopsies because the anesthesia would probably kill me both Sloan Kettering & my hematologist/oncologist both agreed it’s to risky But my teenage son has been sick for over a yr and a half. He’s just like I was as a child but a lot worse after he got Covid. He got the biopsies & his tested positive for mastocytosis in his intestines. Memorial Sloan Kettering accepted him & we are working w them, NYU for his severe dysautonomia, and many other drs) with this disease its constant dr visits, w every specialty. For both of us. Chronic inflammation from harmful chemicals in our foods, personal products, stress, improper diet all lead to chronic diseases. Also ADHD, severe anxiety especially w a feeling of doom(anaphylaxis sending chemicals throughout body saying ur dying, plus hypoxia cause this) burning mouth or throat after eating or breathing in chemicals or perfumes etc. severe brain fog, psychosis(again ur brain gets less oxygen it doesn’t work. Causing anger, memory loss, confusion, anxiety) and many more issues. Drs think histamine intolerance which is a different disease but also the same in a lot of ways, could be the cause of a lot of ADHD, autism(a huge precent of people w mast cell disorders have autism or ADHD), anxiety, depression, migraines. & more. So everybody don’t take your histamine for granted lol. I hope this helps educate people or helps someone suffering from symptoms similar to get tested. I’d Also like for more doctors and nurses to learn about this disease. I went 42 yrs w wrong diagnosis, constant extended hospitalizations, surgeries and more before my disease became so severe it was obvious what I had when I saw my first allergist. There are very few drs that treat this. The Matadora clinic in Utah treats this & dysautonomia because almost everyone w mcad has dysautonomia also & they have one of the top doctors in this field. She accepted me so did Boston Brighams who has specialties in these diseases also. But my son needs to get fixed first. Once we get the ok that he doesn’t have any cancer etc we will hopefully make it to one of those places. I have a homecare nurse 6 days a week. Moving while being a single disabled mom w a disabled son is not easy. I could lose my nursing services, the only apt I can afford in NY(which could be making us worse because of mood inside the walks) and again doing this while so sick , with a sick moody teenager who’s scared and so sick is not easy. Ok I hope this helps someone in some way! I hope it makes sense. Brain fog, brain swelling cause a lot of cognitive issues! I’m glad I could share a bit about my life since I know so much about yours! You’re truly inspiring. I rush my children(daughter 23, son 16 this September) could have had a mother like you. I think of that everytime I listen to you to calm down during a reaction. How everyone deserves a mom like Mary!

The big problem with Nyquil/knockoffs is that most states won't sell the ones with pseudoephedrine OTC, so you have to go to the pharmacist. It's never on sale there. So I just got big packs of the little pseudoephedrine tablets, so I can have one of those in with my little cup of cold/sleepy juice.

A coworker brought her daughter to work at Walmart one day to pick out some new movies & I made the tremendous faux pas of saying that Peppa Pig looked like a hair dryer. Ten years later, that kid still won't speak to me. Maybe saying she looked like a work of art would have been better received.....
