Binge watching all your Halloween stuff. Halloween is my life. I keep about half of my decore up all year all of this is great because some times actual decorations can get ruined. Like the cardboard settings or putting up and taking down the plastic wall and door things. You're so creative and I love your personality!
@deniselaumeier98484 жыл бұрын
Just watching this now, actually if you put mustard on a burn it prevents blisters and takes away the pain.

I love it. I have a suggestion. Get yourself a small glue pot. You can order them online or if there is a Menards by you and probably the craft stores would carry them. They have them at Menards I’m not sure if you have them where you’re at but they’re like 6 to8 bucks. And then get your glue pieces to add in. Then when you’re doing flowers and such you dip the back of it into the gluepot holding onto the top of the flower and you don’t burn your fingers. I then either use finger protectors or a silicone spatula from dollar store I have seen those in your comments. Also if you want to do an outline around the pumpkin I use a product called Dap. Which is like a super glue, you do have a few seconds to adjust but it doesn’t burn your fingers in it holds very well. It’s in a small bottle with a blue top I believe and Walmart hardware stores carry this I think Michael’s and Joann’s mail also. Thanks for the videos

You should get yourself some silicone finger tip protectors. I see some other crafters use them while using hot glue. That way you won’t burn yourself so much. PPS, I love the pumpkin. It is so the colours I would use for it also. Hoping I can find supplies similar here in Canada to make one

Cut off the finger tips of vinyl cleaning gloves and put a tip over your finger for holding items to hot glue. 😁👍 No burns!! ❤️ * (You could just wear the glove/gloves while hot gluing but they get in the way and lessen dexterity.) I cut off at least 1.5 inches of the fingers for extra coverage protection!! You could use small dots of an epoxy glue to glue on small strips of the beaded/gem fabric. Use bamboo skewers or toothpicks to hold the fabric to the glue. I usually put the epoxy on the back of the gem or bead instead of the fabric. Makes it easier to know where to hold down and the epoxy won’t show through the fabric or mesh.

You might want some silicone finger tips to protect from hot glue burns. Dbl-sided tape to adhere the diamond wrap to the edges of each screen???

For the diamond wrap that you wanted to add but didnt want glue to show, what about taking sections of the wire you used and spray painting them black then wire the diamond wrap onto the frame of the splatter screen?
