I just love your table scapes they are so helpful. people need to know how it set a proper table for all types of dinners and you provide that for them. I am 65 yrs old ànd have done a lot of entertaining during my 50 yrs of marriage and i m still learning new tips from you. Veri Keri actually, I’m confused. Please educate me. How to use those layered dishes in a table? Does it mean if the bowl is on top, it’s soup first? No need to remove the 2 plates under while you’re taking your soup? So as to salad plate and dining plate? 😅

Rae took one look at it and said....this is nice for an old lady....I burst out laughing. I told her it is not old lady, it is a mature tablescape. I also told her I have a "young and hip" tablescape up my sleeve for her...lol.

Thank you Keri for a very informative video! I truly believe the art of homemaking needs to be brought back. I think teaching such things is the art of making a house a home and realizing that family is special and should be treated as such! Some people say that an all-white room is dull. I tend to disagree and the same goes for creating a neural palette tablescape. It’s anything but boring. The most important things to remember is to use different textures/layering elements and you did an amazing job. It adds depth, visual interest and warmth to the table. You’ve shown that fine china isn’t always necessary and that inexpensive dishes works just fine and they can be re-used for future events/purposes. I think the best tablescapes are the ones that look professional, yet personal but affordable (sale & clearance are our friends). Great tips. Thanks for sharing.

I am so glad you liked the video. I have found that doing it this way is more effective in this day and age. I simply looove all things dish related, but it is not realistic to think that one will have a 3-5 course dinner each night. I started doing it this way in order to be able to use all my dishes :)

I love entertaining and thought this was spot on for beginners and experienced hostess as myself.
