Thank you for saying the kind, loving words of encouragement. You have no idea how much i needed to be reminded of that at this exact moment. God spoke through you to me just now in a way only He can. I truly believe this was HIS timing and HIS hand. I just came home e!rly from a particularly rotten day at work and as I sat outside on my bench I turned on KZbin and started watching you make these lovely dangles. So I turned up the sound and you almost made me tear up. My heart was wounded and you helped bund it up. Thank you. Please keep on encouraging people. You just never know who may need it.

I’m sitting in a parking lot with my eyes filled with tears because OUR GOD IS SO GOOD! 🙌🏼 He is faithful! And He LOVES us so much! I have no doubt that He used me to speak to you! I am beyond honored! I will add you to my prayers Rach! The things that are bad will be turned to good! You are the daughter of THE KING OF KINGS! 🙌🏼 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for (Rach) those who are called according to his purpose.Romans 8:28 🩷 Thank you for sharing this with me, you have blessed me immensely 💕🫶🏼

I love using zip top plastic bags for coloring metals. Several drops of color with several pieces and then kneeling the bag. I let it sit a while then dump on to wax paper or paper towels to dry.

Sharpies are alcohol inks! If you already have some, you might wish to experiment with scribbling on your shower curtain rings, then spritzing or dribbling 91% rubbing alcohol to move the ink around. Alternatively, you could scribble on a non-porous surface, like a ceramic dish, add the alcohol, then quickly add it to your project with a paint brush. If you hate chemical smells, the sharp alcohol aroma will stop you in your tracks, so it's good to to test it out with the Sharpies before purchasing. Many alcohol ink users prefer to wear a mask and disposable gloves. The Resin Studio Pigment Inks at Dollar Tree are very likely alcohol inks, and the price is right. I bought Mod Podge brand alcohol ink at Walmart a while back, but they're not appearing in the app search. Hobby Lobby sells the Ranger Ink/Tim Holtz, brand in their paper crafting section, and they might still carry Brea Reese brand in the Art Supplies section. Ingrid showed both brands in her stash. Please don't buy the no-name brand in their art section. It's in the same bottles as the Brea Reese line, but they're truly awful, and will ruin your experience. HL may also sell another artist brand, Piñata. If you don't like the results, the ink can also be removed by wiping with the rubbing alcohol. I hope you love playing with alcohol inks! (Don't forget to protect your surfaces.) 🌷🌷🌷

This was amazing! I'm not a junk (or any kind of) journaler (journalist?) yet, but I have loved buying DT craft supplies for several years. This led me to watch your recent junk journal haul. I truly enjoyed it! I've watched several of your projects, and I'm now a subscriber. This video has inspired me to use the alcohol inks I already own to color my STAPLES! Years ago, Dollar Tree had jewel-toned staples in their back-to-school supplies, and I purchased beautiful blue ones. Since I moved, I have not been able to find them. Just yesterday, I told a co-worker that I would look for gold ones online, to match my beautiful gold-and-clear stapler I got from Hobby Lobby. Now I must try alcohol ink first! I can have an array! The inks can probably also color the little charms you purchased during the haul that drew me in. Thanks for sharing this project tonight. 💐💐

Ohhhh, staples…yes! I also have that lovely stapler! But knowing we can transform any plain metal is eye opening! Had another word in mind but since covid, words can escape me. 😂 Only have silver brads, paper clips, safety pins or bulb pins? Just color them!

Wow, they are both so pretty and yes i got ideas from this. I don’t think i own alcohol inks but adding color is wonderful so I may get a few in favorite colors. I would reinforce the holes with eyelets. Since i am a scrapbooker and only a potential junk journalist, i need to adapt a flatter hook but using a shower curtain hook is brilliant if bulk is okay. Maybe i’d use this outside on a photo album cover. Honestly, using the decorated hooks on hangers in your closet, as a hook for kitchen towel, tie backs, etc, would be like adding jewelry! Even from your car mirror! You are so creative! My problem is being interested in too many art methods, collecting the supplies and living in a tiny already-overcrowded studio apartment. 😂 Thanks again, Ingrid!

I was wondering what you would do with them! I love the ink but I think you also need to flip them over and do the top. Have you thought of wrapping them in fabric scraps and gluing along the way? Maybe another idea? Dawn
