I'm a nail tech, so here is a trick for the evaporating polish pen... just dip it in acetone(not polish remover) and it works great! You don't need to fill it up because it evaporates, so just dip it!

The best nail remover was made of acetone but they move to ethyl acetate for most brands now. Acetone perform better. The rest of the ingredients are not for removing the polisher.

Hey y’all I came to chime in on the black African soap. Been used in my home since a kid when my mom and aunties bought from the guy on the street(It’s normal I’m from Brooklyn:) it’s always been irritating for my face buttt as a tomboy who got lots of scraps and suffered backne in puberty it exfoliates and lightens dark marks over time!

Don't throw those yankee candle scent jar after it's gone. I use them with baking soda as refridgerator or room (with your favorite essential oil) deodorizers. when the baking soda needs to be replaced put it down your sink or garbage disposal with or without vinegar.

You actually can't penetrate the barrier of your cuticle or nail with regular moisturizers. If you Google it, it'll help but essentially you need an oil that will actually reach deeply enough to fully moisturize. It's not like your other skin :)

That Shea moisture black soap was recommended by a friend to treat my back and lower back acne. It did work, just lather up and let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse and wash. It took a good month of use to see major improvement. Couple months ago I found the dollar tree charcoal soap, and I've been using it ever since. Has been keeping the body acne under control. I have used on my face, but makes it squeaky clean and feels dry.

The nail polish remover pen would be great even after it's dry. I use put a little nail polish remover in the bottle cap and dip a q-tip to clean up my messy edges. My q-tip doesn't hold a point very well but this pen would last a long time. Also reduces single use waste products.

Stuff on the floors, stuff tossed everywhere, nothing where it should be so it's really hard to find anything. I would love to find that blurring cream. But pretty sure I won't be able to. I will say that I bought DT's warming "lubricant" for "down there" and it's wonderful. As we gals age, things dry out, not just your face and feet. But I would recommend DT brand.

Any product can claim to have Vitamin E (for example) but it depends on its position on the ingredient list (It could be last, meaning there's literally ONE DROP in a whole 2000 gallon vat) and how much of other ingredients are in the formula. Take, for instance, those black-and-white labeled "generic" hair products at Sally's. Same ingredient LIST as Fancy Salon Brand, with water being at the top of the list. Fancy Brand might be made with 4oz of water per 10oz of product, whereas Generic brand has 8oz of water. Do you want to be paying for water and have to use twice the amount of product??

African Black Soap at Dollar Tree! YAY! I started using this product several years ago, just cuz, something to try. I had a "pimple" on the back of my upper arm. It was one that was a hard kernel, could never get rid of it. I tried removing it, but ended up with a very small kernel and wrecked my skin. I started using the brand black soap, thinking nothing of it, then one day, I noticed it was gone!!! I ran out of that soap, couldn't find, so used something else; the "pimple" came back. Once I found this soap, I started using again, and the "pimple" disappeared. This was over 3 years and has not returned. I used over my entire body. I can tell there's s better smoothness to my skin; also, this is to lighten dark spots, not sure, but probably so. To make to bar last longer (and I do this with other bar soaps) is to cut into thirds or fourths (depending on size). Running - not walking - to Dollar Tree!! Thanks! Vivian! Love your comparison vids.

I like the black soap, leaves my skin feeling soft but it stains your wash cloth.

I use Shae moisture black soap daily, it melts easily in the shower uncovered. I use a plastic soap holder i got from Dollar Tree. The. Soap gets the skin squeaky clean añd feels lightly exfoliated. Every brand I've ever tried has done that. I will be trying Dollar tree now and hopefully it can stock up at that price. It smells very clean.
