I was an American engineer stationed in Germany for a few years and did lots of joint training with the Lithuanian army. You guys absolutely flying around Hohenfels in the new Vilkas like a teenager with daddy’s Camaro was a sight to behold. Even the Germans thought you were crazy. Call for support? Don’t matter where you are, in about 2 minutes a pack of wild Vilkas will come crashing through the woods like National Geographic movie. Loved working with you guys.

18:37 I think a huge War Thunder problem that people don't address much is just how bad the map design is, especially at higher tiers. By the time you're getting to 8.0 only a handful of maps are the right size and designed well enough to have fun on. Gaijin is obsessed with canyons and dense cities for maps which lock out snipers and make flanking difficult, and encourage camping in corners for the Barnacle Gaming™ experience. This is relatively okay when you're in WW2 vehicles that can slug it out and are cumbersome, but when you're in super agile modern vehicles where whoever hits first is almost always the winner, it's no fun at all. If Gaijin developed a set of well designed, thoughtful, medium to large size maps for 8.0+ matches then I genuinely think a lot of complaints about top tier balance would stop being repeated. But in general Gaijin doesn't follow any rules about level design in video games. There's the obsession with canyons and streets with no clear focal point. Ideally a map in a team based shooter should be divided into three sections per team: spawn, intermediate, and the main arena, which is shared by both. These should be separated by chokepoints and allow ample room for flanking and sniping directly out of the main action. The map has to be designed around focal points, but instead Gaijin often just gives a giant empty desert or a maze of canyons and calls it a day, with no focal point at all. Really amateur stuff from what is basically an AAA developer.

There's a bug with this vehicle where the missile comes in at a steep angle as it should, but for some reason in the hit replay the missile is always perfectly horizontal and acting such way too. That's why it is working like shit at the moment.

@@DOLLARplays I thought about it, but doubt it since the molten copper shower coming off the shaped charge also goes horizontally, causing it to have less damage because of the impact angle and where it's hitting. Spike is designed to come down at angles up to 70 degrees. You see it often hitting the commander cupola or the top of the tank because that's what it's supposed to do, but for some reason the game thinks it's falling horizontally or something lol. If it worked correctly, you would probably see turret tosses pretty often against tanks with carousels.
