There used to be a button you could press in sim that told you if a tank was enemy if you had it in your sights. This was introduced to help people not kill spy tanks lol

Sim battles would be much better without export vehicles in the enemy team. It creates too much confusion almost every game.

The most realistic game mode is called "Simulator battle", while the slightly less arcade game mode is called "Realistic batle". Gaijin is very funny.

Bro a tip I can give you is to have a copy paste text warning your team that you're playing a enemy team tank. Something like " I'm playing the Taiwanese M60, I have a decal < here > so you can identify me". Works well for me, obviously not 100% foolproof.

My fav thing to do in wt when I'm stressed 😂 I usually tell my team what I'm doing and put a big decal you can't Miss on the front and back and tell my team to range find me or tanks like me or to look for the decals before shooting... It does lower the chances of you getting team killed on a tank like that.

I love this, i used to do this in my American Zero, and i used rising sun decals on it over the stars. It was always hilarious watching a japanese fighter try to dogfight you and then panic when you outmanuver them.

Honestly, the que times depend on the Battle ratings once it's USSR and China the queue times go up because they do not enjoy fighting NATO tanks that are better than what they have.

If you're playing sim and aren't sure about friend or foe, set your crosshair on the vehicle and hit your range finding key. You should see a "requesting location of allies" bar near the range finding bar that will fill up.

I use the gunner sight option in arcade and realistic battles to get used to the parallax, I recommend everyone do it if they plan to someday play Sim.

After 10 years I started to like and play sim battles more and more. Fewer cas support and no cas revenge. Battles are more serious and also much funnier especially when both of us cant proper aim. Also I always play as impostor, mainly with Kungtiger and german KVs which generate a lot of silvers to my account. But the main reason is this: Since I found how bad is this spaghetti code with invisible and silence vehicles I see it in every realistic battles. Sim battles partially eliminated this problem.

Hi Betty. to avoid parallax effect in close combat but sight distance about 600m it helps a lot. For some tanks it's different distance.

They really need to fix this shit. East german vehucles should be on USSR side, American vehicles should be on NATO side. You can only spawn 3 times anyways so the lineup doesnt matter. Let German players select their team and Chinese/Taiwanese players do the same. We have this issue with Italy and Sweden too.

Playing with French tanks in this game mode is torture.The ARL is confused with the Tiger charters, and the AMX, ELC and EBR do not look like normal Allied tanks so they get TK. But German players do not take them for German tanks.

One of the most fun modes in the game are sim battles with france, because there's one scenario where you play 7.7-8.0 autoloaded french tanks against mostly Tiger 2's and other 6.7 tanks, so you basically only play at full downtier. You may check it out one day

I love SIM, both air and ground, but it infuriates me when gaijin gives me these tiny city maps like Alaska, advance to the Rhein or sun city, instead of those amazing big versions of the other maps (which by the way should be the standard for top tier ground RB) Also I'm not sure if this applies to all vehicles, but the laser range finder adjusts for the parallax as well, but not at point blank range like 30m and less.

With all the copy-paste crap in higher tiers Gaijin could actually fix this. Say a German player joined the queue with 3 NATO tanks and 3 Soviet, he'd be allowed to join either side but ,say he spawned on the soviet team (east germany), the NATO tanks would be locked for the match. This way each team would keep their distinct vehicles
