A heating pad is great for heating up the head, and removing it. Also, I use hemostats to remove hair from inside the head, as well as, pliers to pull it out of the top of the head. I hope that helps make things easier for you. I've been rerooting dolls for 20 years.

Wow! I love this so much, you showed the whole process out even your trial-and-error, which is nice because now I know why some of this stuff doesn’t work. I do other arts and crafts so I’d like to make a few recommendations to make the process shorter. However I’ve never tested any of this for doll making to the choice to use it is up to you! First, when making the wefts maybe use small wooden skewers instead of flower pot mesh, it’s easier to tie the yarns to and easier to clean up, you can also reuse them. Second, because you aren’t washing the wefts before you put them on the wig you can probably use tacky glue instead of water-proof glue. It dries much quicker and is a little less expensive in the long run, when they are one the wig they are held in place by the hot glue so no need to worry about the original glue dissolving. Finally something to experiment with is placing regular opaque office tape on the plastic wrap. I’m aware that hot glue can melt this type of tape so maybe the wigs shape will be held better if it has a harder base. The plastic wrap sounds like it may be a little too flexible, but I’m not really sure. Keep up the awesome work! You nice, keep going!

Wow I really love how you transform the original look to your own style yet they looks so much like in real life you get there faces correct that you can tell which doll is for which member and the unique fashion style and hair style you put into it it's something they would often wear and like your paying attention to detail which I feel is what the original lacks, You have a really awesome talent I never even though of using yarn for hair.
