The price was insane! Even though I had no intentions of getting another doll so soon, it was too good of a deal to pass up! Miku is the one Dollfie Dream I've had my eye on too (music aside, I love her design - the teal colour is stunning!). Hopefully you'll be able to get your own Miku one day. I managed to find a brand new Hatsune Miku Dollfie Dream for sale on ebay, and even though she was super-expensive I've wanted one since the first time I saw her years ago! I also managed to find some of her outfits as well. She shipped from Japan just a few hours ago! YAY! Thanks for the info, I think I'm going to buy a body suit for her. I know almost nothing about Dollfies, so you were a big help. I collect BJDs, so Miku will be my first (and probably only) Dollfie.

Hello! That's so exciting ☺️ I unfortunately don't have a specific video like that (perhaps I should make one someday!). But there is a lot of information out there. There are things you can do to protect the doll or so to speak - like buying a "body stocking" to put under the clothes to protect the vinyl from getting marked (mainly for under darker clothing, but also nice for peace of mind. Although it covers the joints, which some people don't like the look of), keeping the doll out of direct sunlight/the sun for extended periods, handling the doll with clean hands, etc. Otherwise a lot of it I feel is common sense. Really, just do what you feel is best that allows you to get the most enjoyment out of your Miku ❤️ And ask people questions if you're unsure. Hi there! I'm happy to try and help you. Unfortunately, you cannot get my specific dolls for that price. The nature of these dolls means that they do end up being on the expensive side due to the lengthy process in which they are made. All it means is that some saving is required, and patience! ^^; One resin doll company that comes to mind is Mirodoll, specifically the Mirodoll Lili: www.mirodoll.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=22&products_id=352 - Lili is 1/4 scale (so smaller than my dolls), and is currently available on their site for $90USD. You will have to wait for Mirodoll to make the doll, which can take a while (another reason that patience is important lol). I actually opened a Lili here on my channel last year: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHm9oYOImtiGb5o&list= You could always try and find something on the secondhand market - Mirodolls can often be found secondhand for great prices! One thing to be wary of is that there are counterfeit dolls out there that skip steps in the production process, resulting in an inferior product. I would urge you to stay away from these, since their resin/materials are not always stable and can be toxic; their casting quality is subpar and the dolls are likely to break and have defects; and lastly they feature stolen designs that are taken from the original artist without permission (making them illegal). Counterfeit dolls are not welcomed in the community for these reasons. They are cheaper, but 9.99 times out of 10 it's money down the drain :( So if you see a cheap doll, and it looks too good to be true, it probably is ;A; As a general rule, sites like Ebay/Aliexpress should be avoided like the plague for buying dolls, since they are filled with dishonest sellers selling fake products. @@karma3.016 I'm so sorry to hear you were tricked into buying a counterfeit DD :'( As a general rule, it's best to avoid sites like Ebay/Aliexpress when it comes to buying these dolls. If the price seems to good to be true, it probably is :/ If they haven't shipped her yet, you could possibly ask for a refund? Even is she has been shipped, they might have a returns policy. It could be worth checking out :) Failing that, try not to dwell on it too much. Learn from your mistake, use your experience to help others, and move forward! I'm sure you will still be able to get some joy out of your doll
