Dottie is gone resting until resurrection day she is not in heaven looking down. If it were so everyone should die and go to heaven where there is no trials sickness or death. Our heartfelt sympathy for the family. Be of good courage she is resting it is just a sleep.

No, the body that Dottie occupied is resting however, the spirit Dottie is very much alive it needs no rest. God blew into Adam and Eve the breathe of life and both became living beings, that breathe is still alive and well.

Please read Psalms 49:15 and read the whole chapter of John 11. When Jesus said Lazarus come forth he came out of the tomb and not descend from heaven and this is exactly what it will be when Jesus comes the 2nd time to take the faithful and righteous to live with him for a thousand years. There r many more scriptural verses of the resurrection and not a calling down of dead from heaven.
