You know what type of ride it is when you hear a "bloody hell" and "christ almighty" within 2 seconds of one another. I spent half the time checking out the view. Nice looking lake and hills.

Ahh, Dollywaggon. I tend to think of it as a way to get to the following descent down Patterdale (my favourite bridleway anywhere) and something that therefore needs to be done but in some weird way, I enjoy it every time. Certainly does beat you up though 😃👍

Bloody hell that was a real testing descent on both the bike and you ! Fair play for giving it a good go , there were plenty of places where , either due to tiredness or lack of concentration….you could definitely have been OTB ! Surely worth it though 👍
