Using a Victorian classic method of storytelling as a vehicle for a thinly veiled political agenda is never a good idea. Regardless of the fine acting with the exception of Natalie Dormer, this series is the absolute worst yet. The technology used on Dormer's character made her look fake in every scene. Not up to the standards we expect yet highlights the very modern story of the progressives in California.
