@strpwnr3 dont get me wrong what i mean here is the atmosphere the music creates, as the music is just a tool, a mere tool. i lived in scandinavia for many years and i do know what u mean by northern nature. but, the nature gives a certain aura which i think i s well described by dolorian`s music. the landsacapes they paint with their music is what i call pagan - the entity with the north and the nature.the only pagan band i know and praise is early enslaved and maybe finnish perkele.

@knokkelmann1 I agree on your opinion about this band, but don't you know that this is not the only atmospheric BM band? theres more of these kinda of bands out there and there are new ones forming rapidly. BM evloves. started as heavy metal with satanuc lyrics, became oldschool bm with its own harsh sound, and is now moving towards Nature/Atmospheric BM.

@knokkelmann1 what you are talking about is often refered to as "Oldschool Black Metal" and yeah, it's underground music and it still got a cult status. Dimmu Borgir was good, but they're sellout now, but are they the whole BM genre, does that mean even Mayhem is mainstream?? NO. you don't make sense.

This is undoublty best track of dolorian. The atmospehere it gives is just impossible to describe. but, ig your into funeral doom - u can understand the darkenss it creates, the way the north is. Bleakness, emptiness, sadness. This band is more pagan than heaps of shitty black metal idiots.

@knokkelmann1 black metal is not an accepted genre in public. it's a genre thats achieved a cult status. I agree on all the positive things you say about dolorian, but you can't say its more pagan than BM. it's a bit different than most other bands out there, probably better than many, but you can't just pluck it out of the BM genre cause you don't like other BM bands. who are you to define Dolorian? now please think things through before you respond.

@strpwnr3 stop feeding me with garbage like summoning etc. All these nature black metal bands are shit - dont have nothing to do with evil black metal. except from Negura they are wothless to the scene I know and admire. go check out A league bands not followers... Listen to old Sorhin, old Solstafir, Azhubhan Haani, Ophthalamia, Mastiphal from Gdansk/Poland, Eidomantum and then respond.
