A friend of mine went to a grace jones party in manhattan in the 80’s while she was dating laundren. He said dolph would change outfits every hour that night. She was showcasing him . Gladiator, tuxedo, army , suit , athlete . He said it was outrageous

Dolph did his Masters degree at Sydney University. My mate's Dad was a his supervisor. One morning Dolph didn't turn up for his weekly tutorial and while my mate's Dad was waiting for him the phone in his office rings. He picks up the phone and it's Dolph, who starts apologising profusely for not being there. My mate's Dad says no worries and then asks him, "so will you be in tomorrow or later in the week.?" To which Dolph replies, "no I'm actually in Jamaica with Grace Jones..." He eventually came back and finished off his masters, I think. True story.

I have a friend who looks like Dolph, who is even partly of Swedish descent and still has cousins there. He use to live in San Franciso and one time he went to go see Grace sing. Well, Grace got closer to him while singing, stood in front of him and was looking at him eye to eye really deeply, like she was singing for him. I always theorized it's because he looked like Dolph.

Well Warhols gay so i dont really see why hed want to, the place was probably the amphetamine capital of the world in 1964 though. the stories are just out there. Grace was tame by comparison. But she acted like a free spirit on coke because she was. Speed can be more dangerous mentally, coke'll be the financial ruin. usually the one youd think doing the betting of that kind i'd of thought to be Billy Linnich but i suppose they werent dating anymore by the time the 80's came round. Not surprised some chick pulled out a gun and shot him though not long after this Dolph story. just a few years but still in the 80's

I watched them slow dancing very romantically to "If Only You Knew" by Patti Labelle. My fondest memories was watching the action-packed Universal Soldier movie on a Saturday night with my siblings in the late 90s. I vividly recall being mesmerised by the brilliant portrayal of the villain by none other than Dolph Lundgren. This led me to associate him with the iconic Rocky movie franchise, and again, he proved himself to be an exceptional actor. Looking back, I feel grateful to have grown up in the late 90s, a time when watching movies with siblings was a cherished activity, and actors like Dolph Lundgren left an undeniable mark on my impressionable young mind.

Dolph did a TED talk and a point I picked up was in a time of fear we ‘run, freeze or fight’ except I’d only know ‘fight or flight’. When he said he would freeze, it set alarm bells off on my own behaviour in times of stress. The guy is insightful and brave, a powerful combination.

@@fred5nyc first one isn't even really a boxing movie. That's such a small part of the 1st one. It's more about struggling working class people. Remember the scene where Mick begged Rocky to forgive him and take him on as a manager. I think rocky 1 every movie critic would say 1 is better. 4 is like 80's action cartoony mass appeal. 1 is like a art film. Which is fine, I like John wick which basically have very little story in the 1st one. Like marvel movies aren't really amazing storylines. Doesn't mean it's bad.

I know this is a late reply, but you need to understand: most of these internet trolls are Caucasian males who were born after 1981. They don’t understand the level of fame of Grace Jones had--during the 1980’s. All of us (including Hans aka. his fake name, “Dolph”) knows SHE made Hans famous and he owes his career to her. Even HE said this….during his TedTalk. All of us pre-1980 babies remember ….in REAL TIME.
