Fascinating presentation. How does a female "choose" which male to mate with? (around 16:00 into the presentation) Thank you.

From Denise: Females seem to have some control over choosing who mates with them. Sometimes they tail slap a male who is trying, or sometimes they try to escape attention by going over to another alliance of males. In addition, females seem to have a false cervix, meaning they may be able just to close it, or open it, depending on who they are mating with….sounds crazy but that is the scoop
