You don't get it, she doesn't see it as your money, she sees that money as an entitlement and hers. This is what happens when voters vote solely on exterior appearances and not qualifications for the job. If anyone that voted for her actually did a bit of research on her and weighed what they expected of her and what they wanted from the mayors office and who she really was, no one in their right mind would have voted for her. She was 38 years old, has a criminal record and no job experience to be mayor and yet she got 82% of the vote, that right there tells you that no one in that district did any kind of research on this women. 82% of the vote tells you that she was elected because she was female and black and NOT because she was qualified. With a district of 20,000 people I can tell you right now that there is far more people 1000 times more qualified than her and 10,000 times more honest. But they voted her in anyway because she talked the talk and you ate it up.

Hey, Fox 32, you forgot to mention that Mayor Henyard didn't qualify to attend the US Conference of Mayors. (Minimum population 30,000 required to be eligible. Dolton is only 20,000.) Moreover, if you check the list of mayors and cities who are members of the US Conference of Mayors, neither the city of Dolton nor the name Henyard are listed. (Makes sense since they don’t meet the eligibility criteria.) You should investigate how she got invited. I'd start by calling the US Conference of Mayors organization.
