Collect all their badges,uniforms,keys,equipment n send them packing .How many of them actually passed background checks,they are REQUIRED BY STATE LAW to be certified police officers to attend a accredited academy i seriously doubt any of them did. Bring in the Sheriff's Police temporarily to provide law enforcement or permanently contract with them if you don't want to reorganize your dept.

At the end of the meeting there was a motion and 2nd on the floor to suspend the rules yet the mayor violated Roberts rules of order trying to do another motion to adjourn, someone should have called out point of order and call for vote on original motion, and when the mayor left her post the mayor pro temp should have taken over the meeting.

society only works when we agree to follow made-up rules. when the 'authorities' violate those rules, then you appeal to a higher authority for justice. when *that* authority refuses, the only recourse is disobedience. at some point you have a revolt to reset the game. henyard is lucky in that her most vocal opposition are old people, and even then these meetings are starting to consistently devolve into chaos. given a larger number of able-bodied angry men, she could have anarchy pretty quickly. it just takes a spark, and i bet there are a couple of people nearby who remember the gin bottle riot.
