I have a friend/co-worker who was beaten by her boyfriend for over a year, nobody knew because she was never hit in the face. One day the boyfriend for whatever reason beat her so bad she ended up in the hospital for over a week. She had 4 broken ribs along with some kidney damage and fractured hip. Her boyfriend was arrested and charged, he was found guilty and got 12 years in prison. She said this was about 20 years ago, now in her mid 40s she tells everybody if your boyfriend/girlfriend hits you even once then it's time you leave and don't look back.

i mean it might not be the best for dom as a character but for doms actor, all doms storylines will help him get jobs after holby because casting directors will see he has the ability to play hard storylines and make the audience feel something :)
