hindsight is 20/20. most players in the nba aren't MJ or Lebron. They have to learn and develop. Kobe, Paul George, Kawhi, Giannis, Kyle Lowry, Khris Middleton, Jimmy Butler, Vucevic, Jokic, Beal, Klay, Gobert, Tobias Harris, Booker, Siakam, JRich, Steven Adams, JRandle, JMurray are all players who didn't make a splash in their first 2 years or so. The only way to know if most players will be good is their work ethic. Looking back is trendy but not constructive. No one makes money buying high.

Dude Kawhi benefited so much from the Spurs system. Any reasonable person knows that. He was a solid player at San Diego, nothing special.
