@@monad_tcp I just read the definition of pacisfism. It's actually way more lame than I though. You just have to be opposed to war as a mean of solving conflict and not being willing to be drafted. I thought that statement was something which didn't describe the majority of the population.

That's the jist of most "pacifist" runs in videogames anyways. Creators just cause enemies to die in ways (often way more cruel than intentional way) that do not tick the "enemies killed" counter, and that's somehow considered pacifism. I hate this twisting of terminology

The resource converter is only really worthwhile when you have monstrous amounts of iron and absolutely no water, or when you get it early and upgrade it to convert iron into more iron. I like that I can slowly but perpetually increase my iron count even if I'm not getting enough from mining. Just harvest your five when you notice it's done running, immediately restart the process with one of them, then take the other four up to the harvester. Rinse and repeat. If you get it early enough, it can give you a couple dozen more iron than you would have otherwise. If you get it late, just scrap it.

Hello RCE. You can replant the tree seed by mining the block. You also need a few unmined blocks for it to grow around three I think? You can also put it between two resources and let the roots spread. Different resources have different growing speeds. Hope this helps and hope you have a wonderful day.

The early iron near the start, only gives you 4-5 iron. Not a lot, but if you save two nodes, and look around the area, you might find cobalt near it. If you can hit both iron, and the cobalt with the roots of the tree, you can get 2 iron a day plus 1 Cobalt every few day near your base entrance. Even without the cobalt node, it’s a lot of iron in the long run.

the resource converter is great. you can upgrade it to produce 4 iron at the cost of just 1, so you basically get 3 free iron every 1.2/1.4 cycles. Its a good thing to have, bot not as good as other things

i think a more apt "pacifist run" would be maxing out the repellent to do as much passive damage as possible, and focusing on repairing and strengthening the dome so AOE kills as many monsters as possible. could be interesting to watch

I am a genetic ENGINEER. I work with smaller materials…but we can build cellular structures. The support systems in cellular systems will blow you big engineer’s mind! So much of the physics is replicated on the molecular level. You can learn so much about engineering studying the cell and ALL the support systems, those are often overlooked, but the amazing structural support each cell has…you’ll see all the engineering you know replicated on the molecular level.
