Why did you quit and restart at the 8 minute mark?

There is a bug with x-ray cave. It causes some resources that should be visible in places where player dug before getting x-ray, to be invisible. Reloading the save fixes that issue. So I always reload after getting x-ray cave.

do you have a strict order in which you buy the upgrades? and is the poking up one block every few blocks really worth it? you can only see iron through the corner right?

Yes I do have order of most upgrades, especially for Keeper and Laser. Poking up one block is not really to find iron, it is to have better chance of finding X-ray cave.
