Super damn cool to already see the new gadgets being utilized in runs like this. Being able to just forever stay underground and constantly mining is such a cool new strat. Excited to see the other modes as well in the future

Yea I hope we do NOT find a way to get better scores without gadgets. It is way more fun with them. I expect it is possible to do something similar on all modes.

@@zimny11 I know you play endless mode rarely, but in your experience is it possible to get over milion points in that mode? I'm asking because my record is around 150k

@@litheraa Maybe on previous season when Tesla was broken OP (we didn't see scores this high because anti-cheat had a cap at 600K). Now, no way, I expect 300-400K, maybe 0.5M. But the season just started so who know if there isn't some crazy strategies or "exploits". 150K is already a good score, well done!

What are you truing to find, then drill up every 4 horizontal blocks? For iron its too often, but for water and cobalt you already pass one vertical line

5 blocks spacing is more efficient than 4. With 4 I would find all cobalt and water, but it is slower. Iron goes to base value and it price goes up by 2 with each bought base. Meanwhile iron and water goes to multiplier. Cobalt cost stays the same and water goes up by 1. So it is far easier to get multiplier than base, and getting both values grows with similar rate gives you more score, than getting a lot of one and have the other way lower. So, it is more efficient to skip some water and cobalt and get iron faster with 5 blocks spacing, even if I miss some cobalt/water. Hope it make sense :)

@@zimny11 thank you, but i mean not that) Then you make your horizontal line, you drill 4 to 5 bloks, then one up, and then continue previous horizontal line. I can be wrong but this one up block brings you nothing in entire mine.

@@litheraa Oh you mean one block up that I destroy every few blocks, while strip mining? If so, it just to uncover a bit more area, which lower the probability that I miss water/cobalt while not adding much mining time.

@@zimny11 yea. I mean that. Consider you reached the bottom of the mine in 19th wave, i guess, its pretty effective strategy. But maybe there is some better way? Coz in this run this up block brings you nothing

@@litheraa Yea, this time it did nothing, probably could not do that. Also, I can easily switch to 6 blocks spacing on last 2 layers. But it is not like those are really serious runs. I'm kind of waiting for other pros to join the grind, then I can switch to "real" strategy like predicting where resources are and not just strip mining (if it still works as well as it did last season).
