Great tutorial! Can you please create a tutorial of a 5 storey shop with an atrium? I’m having trouble with lighting the entire scene. Any tips welcomed!!!
@ChaosCorona2 ай бұрын
Sorry, that one is a bit specific for us to be able to cover as a tutorial. However, I believe you can still get some guidance! Best bet is to post over on the forums, showing the results you've achieved so far and describing the scene set up, and then the ever helpful community (and maybe even our support folks) can give some comments on things that can be taken to improve the result. The community is super helpful like that! Head over to the C4D "I Need Help!" section at forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?board=49.0 . And indeed, hope this helps! Tom

Hi guys! you can make a video about Corona camera settings for exterior visualization (Cinema 4D)
@ChaosCorona2 жыл бұрын
Howdy! Thank you for the input although if possible we'd like to ask you if you could elaborate on what exactly you'd like to see covered in such a tutorial? The same principles apply to the Corona camera setup in an exterior as they do in an interior. Nejc

Thanks for this tutorial I have a problem, I have the same result on my viewport with the spherical projection and the dome projection. I can't ajust the dome size / position to my scene...
@ChaosCorona Жыл бұрын
Hi Florent! Sorry to hear you're having problems. Unfortunately, I don't fully understand what you mean and would really need to see some screenshots of the results, plus the settings being used in Dome mode (perhaps even a small sample scene). Since KZbin comments does not support any of that, please can you post the problem on our forums (forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?board=49.0 ) or open a ticket with our support team (support.chaos.com/requests/new ) so we can find the solution for you. Best regards! Tom

With a subscription, of course - most of our users are using it for commercial work. Hope this helps! Tom

Thank you for this tutorial! Do I understand correctly that this method is more for large-scale HDRIs? Currently I have a problem with a background (machine shop) with many objects on the ground. I can't get a satisfactory representation. I could provide the file. Where can I upload it?
@ChaosCorona2 жыл бұрын
Apologies, KZbin didn't show me this comment :( It should work with any HDRI, but I think you have a point that if there are lots of objects on the ground then setting the size of the dome correctly might be hard, and those objects may look distorted (as they will be flattened onto the base of the dome). You can report issues and attach files like the HDRI in question or a sample scene using it, over at support.chaos.com/requests/new where everything is privately sent to us, for debugging and testing only. Hope this helps, Tom

Then the problem comes, how to ensure that the HDR is not blurred when rendering the image? This problem has puzzled me for a long time when TRYING to render the car. I am looking forward to your tutorial to solve my doubts. Thank you very much
@ChaosCorona2 жыл бұрын
Hi, if your HDR is blurry then you could try a high resolution HDR. The one used is the tutorial is 8k. Jake

@Real_MisterSir2 жыл бұрын
@@oxa9376 Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but: If you didn't figure it out yet, go into the material settings and under the "preview" tab in the bottom left, you can change the material pixel size to your liking (up to 4k). This will force the material to render in the given setting and preserve details both in normal render and in preview render. Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but:

in which computer specs you are using corona render?

Different machines are used for different tutorials - as a general guide we use something with the power of a 3960X or equivalent. Hope that helps, Tom

Sorry for question. This render is make in the same machine what another videos? AMD Ryzen 9 5950X? Because is very fast.Thank you :)

No worries, we're happy to answer! Typically when you see Jake doing a tutorial it is indeed created on a 5950x based workstation :) Nejc

@@ChaosCorona what about intel core i7 12700K?
@ChaosCorona2 жыл бұрын
@@X8COM We'd recommend taking a look at our benchmark (corona-renderer.com/benchmark/results) to see how a given CPU performs. Just input the name of the CPU in the search bar and you're good to go. As a small tip, some folks overclock their CPUs so typically the first few pages you see for a given CPU model are probably those overclocked entries and so they are typically higher ranked compared to that same CPU running at the speed you get out the box. You can also hop onto the hardware section on our forums (forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?board=32.0) if you want to dive deeper into the topic. Nejc

I'm so sorry but i follow this great tutorial but i couldn't manage to make same result. I use exactly same numbers and HDRI and model. But something wrong. I couldn't manage dome radius numbers. İs it related to render resolution?
@barisoktem7312 жыл бұрын
Ow ok i figure it out i use wrong HDRI thats why. But unfortunately you need spacious HDRI's for this result i assume.
@ChaosCorona2 жыл бұрын
@@barisoktem731 it does depend on the HDRI at play yes - some are more fitting others a bit less but that's expected because they are basically photos. Would be hard to dome map an object into an HDRI that doesn't have a ground where you'd put the object :) Glad you've got it going though! Nejc

why when i import a 3d model it appears like an empty box ? thank you
@ChaosCorona2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Sorry to hear you are having problems - we'd need more info, and to be honest KZbin comments are not a good place for providing technical help. The forums are much better for that, if you can post the question in forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?board=49.0 that would be great, or you can always open a ticket using support.chaos.com/requests/new . When posting there, be sure to mention more details such as - what format are you importing? Are you importing it as a proxy? What version of Corona, and what version of C4D? What OS? Does it only appear as an empty box in the viewport, or also in a render? Thanks! Tom
@muhammadzien58172 жыл бұрын
@@ChaosCorona corona version 9 C4D version R26 .... well when i import the 3D model it appears like an empty box but when i use corona vfb i can see the whole things ... BTW only with the vehicles models .... thank you so much
@ChaosCorona2 жыл бұрын
@@muhammadzien5817 If you are referring to Cosmos models then those will import as Corona Proxy objects and if they are relatively high poly they will, by default, come in with their "visualization method" set to wire bounding box". If that is the case, and you'd like to see the actual mesh in the viewport as well, you should switch the visualization method to "Full mesh" and that should do the trick for you. Assets import as wire bounding boxes because if you have a lot of high poly objects in your viewport then you could be faced with some really sluggish viewport performance - and that is avoided with a bounding boxes :) Hope that helps!
