I would like to say that the behaviour of the husband was unbelievable but sadly it's all too familiar of stories I've heard first hand from survivors. I am relieved that women are getting out of these awful situations but am terrified at how many women do not feel they have a voice or do not have the support to leave. It genuinely breaks my heart.
