Great review. I am keen to see how it’s going 2 years later. How did you like the freezer section?

@@onlyleavingfootprints yea ok sounds like the doors no sealing very well ok thank you 👍

Ive had one for 3 years and the seals are not very good. This makes it harder for the fridge to maintain temperature and therefore use up a lot of power.

Hey mate, good review. Looking to buy one myself. Just curious about the gap around your fridge in your enclosure. It's appears a 50mm gap is required around all the vents as a minimum. How does it go with less than that (from what it looks like anyway). I see you have a vent at the front of your cabinet. Do you also have ones on the side for those vents? Thanks

G'day Wayne! Cheers mate, appreciate the feedback! Yeah the fridge is holding up really well, even during the warm days. Yep, I have another silver vent on the rear of the cabinet, and a large cut out in the dividing wall within the cabinet, so all fridge vents have good air flow. If you take a look at my "DIY solar system install" video, you will be able to see the inside of the cabinet from the electrical compartment that flows to the fridge if that helps :)

Great review and I bought one on what I saw as good value. I thought the battery settings were different. High would shut off at around 12v so you still had power to start the Car and low around 11v and may have trouble starting. Could be wrong tho?
@triitoutadventures20283 жыл бұрын
Thanks Russell, I appreciate it! I'm not sure on that as I have my fridge connected to my solar power source (2 x lithium batteries) which are completely separate from my van battery. I highly recommend not using a cars main battery as the source of power for the fridge. The car battery is purely for cranking the vehicle, I would look into getting a secondary battery for any 12V appliances such as a fridge. Hope that helps!

100% agree will get a 138ah battery and 200w solar system to support it once the vehicle is not running.

What's the difference between this model and the CFX3 75 DZ, apart from it being 75 litres, not 70?
@gussy45672 жыл бұрын
Im wondering too, you know the difference?
@cusinadigio2 жыл бұрын
Ive asked a local dealer here.. this model still got the Secop compressor. The Cfx got the new one. Plus more advanced electrical components plus more energy efficient.
