Nice!! I honestly have no complaints. I just took it up to Big Bear on a two-day trip and it did everything is supposed to. Should have bought this a long time ago!

Amazing the low draw this runs off of.. a jackery 1000 will run this thing for for a 2-3 weeks if its using a couple of watts per hr... holy moly.... Ami doing the math correct... 1000/2 divided by 24??
@so-caladv11793 жыл бұрын
@@sodobson in theory, you have to account for loss as well. It's safe to use 70% as a conservative estimate for total AH. There's calculators that can give you close estimates!

Checking out the Dometic and ran across the video. Just wanted to point out, Jackery (and the competition) often name their batter off the watt hours, not amp hours. Make sure you look at that when you do the math. I pulled it up and the Jackery 1000 Wh has 46.4 Ah.

I actually left the part that goes on the lid, off. I don't like how loose it is but everything else is nice and snug. I'm more concerned about the sides when I'm loading it up and stuff. Worst case scenario I can order Adore for it. But I thought it fit a little loose. But it will really protect the body. Nice and thick. I like this.

Hi…After three years of doing this review is there any further feedback you can give. Did the CFX3 45 live up to your expectations in use ?

I still use it to this day, still going strong. I would buy again.

The covering needs to be white or reflective. Black is more suitable for an oven especially if left in sun.
@so-caladv11793 жыл бұрын
agreed it does get hot in the sun.

odd questions lol but can this be used in a bedroom long term? do you know how much it would cost a year?
@so-caladv1179Ай бұрын
Sure, these are meant for long-term use. I’ve used them for weeks at a time in my garage with no issues. Can’t speak to power consumption rates, but it’s on the lower end of a mini fridge I would assume.

We are looking for a new fridge for our camper van. But I’m very sound sensitive and can’t find anywhere about the sound level on domestic small fridges. I do hear something in the background in your video. Is that the sound from the fridge? We are sleeping directly above our space for our fridge so it needs to be extremely silent. What sound can you hear?
@so-caladv11793 жыл бұрын
Great question, I actually fell asleep with this thing in my truck once and didn't have an issue at all. You can hear the compressor kick on periodically but in my opinion it's not loud at all. Given the price point it's definitely one of the quieter ones on the market if not the quietest

For that small side basket. Is it the same temperature as the deep side fridge or is it for "cool" storage?

what solar panels are good to buy for the dometic to keep a solid charge?
@so-caladv11793 жыл бұрын
Depends on you battery power supply. Complicated question that doesn’t have a specific answer. You want to charge at least or more than 1ah though to keep it running

I got the 35. Big mistake- Only cools to 28F, no matter how low I set it. If you set it below 35F, it never shuts off, and there isn’t enough in the Jackery 1500 to run it more than 40 hours. Going back to good old dependable Ice.
