Just want to say a big thank you for opening the lock so I could see inside, I have a new one, it didn't fit properly, (my fault no doubt), but looking at your video explains to me how to put it back together.

Thanks for this information. I wish there was a video showing how to repair the other side with the light. My latch works. However the catch part (plastic, is broken off). The part is about $35 - $60 for that darn clip.
