Thanks to (video) for making a video which led to me fixing our Dometic CF80 fridge in about 15 minutes. Thought someone else might find this useful.

My CF80 quite working on 12v, I checked the fuse at the end of the 12v cord and it is good just can’t get nothing from the fridge when it’s plugged in, works perfect on 120v

Just took mine apart, unfortunately I must have an older model, no spare thermistor to be found anywhere, but thankfully with a little disassembly I was able to pull the old thermistor out of the original hole and insert the new one w/ thermal paste. Fingers crossed we’ll be back in business soon - I am going to wait a few hours to try since I had the fridge upside down for a while.

@@ClaytonMorrow that’s great!! what was the easiest way to pull the thermistor out of that hole? i have my cf110 pulled apart rn and it seems to be in there right

@@RaydNitro hey man I'm sorry, I don't think I had any tricks, once I had the fridge torn down it pretty much just came out when I pulled. And the thermal paste sort of feels like a caulking or glue-like stuff but seems to help it slide when you re-insert the new one.
