- ABS incident wrong information I completely agree that ABS works in wet road conditions too. I understand that I exaggerated in the video and bashed the ABS for accident. I realize that accident was my fault, simply because I lac experience with ABS. - To conclude is it worth to buy? If your budget is 2-2.5L, then Dominar is the best value for money bike offering much more features than the competition. Leg guard bolt breaking problem is solved with 2020 edition Dominar, so, one con point is out. If you can compromise on other con points which I mentioned in the video, go ahead with Dominar.

10:39 ABS is designed specifically to be most effective under rain conditions. ABS should always be on under wet conditions even with an on/off switch option. Check on that once. Otherwise, valid points.

In my January 2020 ride, my 2018 Dominar gave me hell lot of problems of which 2 were major ones. 1. First problem, prior one week to my ride I had serviced my bike thoroughly hoping of not to suffer in my ride. The first day early morning I left home at exactly 5am. 2 minutes of ride and just 2 kms of it, the bike started to raise its rpm by itself till redline. I switched off the bike put it to neutral and then started the bike, the same problem occurred even though the bike was in neutral. After 5 minutes of waiting the bike became normal, and as I didn't wanted to cancel my journey, I further proceeded towards the destination which was 430 kms from home. In the entire stretch the bike was giving problems, and one thing I noticed is even when in gear if I just press the clutch lever the rpm used to raised itself, but here I'm not giving any acceleration. It's when I decided not to go to the place that I was supposed to, rather find a mechanic and first get the bike serviced. As it was Sunday and as my ride was completely on highway I found no one, instead I decided to go to a city that has Bajaj authorised service centre. Sunday service center closed. Monday gave the bike to service, after the service they said throttle cable was jamming, and throttle body had some problems and they said they have rectified the problems(I had little or no knowledge in these things so took the bike and resumed my journey). The same day I left to another City which was my last destination. The first place I had cancelled and did not go there. So the second journey was about 320 kms. I had a blast riding in highways, the bike gave no problems, I was maintaining 135kmph throughout the ride. 2. After reaching my last destination, the next day I wanted to visit a village that was 80 kms away from this place. Bike was doing well, hoping so I continued my journey towards it. After 40-50 kms or so, while riding the bike got shut down by itself. I was stranded in the middle of nowhere. I phone called my local mechanic, he said probably fuse might have burnt and advised to put the extra fuses provided. I did the same and all other fuses got burnt too. I literally waited for 5-6 hours in the middle of the road, at last a Tata Ace came to my help, put my bike in it, and took the bike to the service center. The service center guys said something which I couldn't understand, till now the problem of which I do not know. 3. After all that my parents and friends told me to put the bike to the train instead of riding all the way back to home. But I wanted to ride the bike as bike riding is love and I'd already lost mood in this journey. So the very next day I started my journey towards home which was 650 kms away. I took 15 hours to reach home as I was riding very slowly. 4. Once I reached back home, I gave my bike to my local mechanic to service my bike entirely. After this I haven't done any long rides, probably after this ride I might have ridden Dominar only for 200kms or so as I own other 3 bikes that I use for commuting. So only in the next long ride I can say whether the problems have been fully rectified or not. 5. But what I would like to say is, the bike is fantastic, the comfort, the brakes, the stability, the headlights, the cruising ability at higher speeds are just too good. So if you ask me,I will definitely recommend this bike for you, I would do so only if you are a regular tourer, for City riding of course you can use this bike, but sometimes you'll feel like you need a small bike. I just use my Dominar only for touring, and for commuting and City riding have kept other small capacity bikes. 6. The bike is fantastic in every way, just because of those electrical problems, I had to suffer much, but otherwise you know...
@EndRiders4 жыл бұрын
Really, this is very useful for the guys who want to buy Dominar and also for those who are into touring. Your experiences teaches everyone who is reading this comment. I really loved that, you still haven't given up on Dominar after the whole experience. I just hope that you don't face any issues in your future rides. Thank you so much for the lovely comment And stay safe and happy riding.

@@EndRiders Absolutely experience teaches everything and I wanted to share the same, because the problem I suffered when I was stranded in l nowhere was horrible. From next time onwards I can be very cautious and as I know my bike very well now it really helps me in taming the problems. I'm glad you liked it. Trust me whoever reads this the bike is absolutely fantastic and the newer 40ps one which has got inverted forks and other minor changes adds to its characteristics. You to stay safe 😃

Hi, couple of things 1) switchbale abs is provided to trail bikes such as Himalayan or Duke adventure, reason is on loose surface you can skid the rear tyre, there the front and rear tyres sizes are also different. 2)i haven't ridden dominar so can't comment on rear brake but all bikes you have to apply front brake first because when you apply brake the weight is transferred to the front tyres (this is applicable to cars as well so the have disk at front and mostly drums at rear)...
@EndRiders4 жыл бұрын
Hey! Thanks bro 😊 Yes, KTMs do get the ABS switch, that's why I was expecting Dominar too to have a switch for ABS. About rear break, I think you are right. Because now after getting used to to the bike, I am also doing the same thing to stop the bike 😊😊😊 Thanks for watching ❤️

Because of the off balance due to the exhaust placement or the weight, you will have to apply a little more pressure on the left handle while riding. You'll feel the pain even if you ride for 10kms. I initially thoughty handle bars are either bent or not fixed in the proper alignment. So when I fit my handle bar raisers I slightly off set my handle bar alignment towards the right a little bit and now it kinda feels better

9:55 Brother as my experience weight distribution on this 400 CC heavy weight bike is OK ..because brother people used to modified there bike that also effect weight distribution bcz of addition accessories on it..and 1 more thing if your tyre pressure is incorrect according how you ride then also bike get unbalanced... 1 last factory to notice is that brother our ROAD SURFACE is not same ...means if your bike pulls more in right or left that's not your bikes fault brother..surface effect ..many possibility can be there for this situation .. But weight distribution is 100/100 on dominar 400

Hi i just saw your video considering as owner experience since I am planning to buy this bike. In your video what you spoke about the rea breaks yes I also heard from couple of other people, and they solved that by installing after market better break pads, your video is good informative except one.point.which you mentioned about its break when you had a small accident. Yes ABS doesn't work on gravel properly, but as you mentioned it doesn't work on wet road and Cox of that you had small accident, so just to clarify you ABS works perfectly fine on wet roads that's the best safety major on wet road. But it works at its 100% only when while breaking if you keep your bike straight upright and leaned as it's not a cornering ABS it will not give you full grip. So may be you had a fall.or small accident it's not Cox of ABS didn't work it's your mistake that you couldn't keep the bike straight upright, I am guessing this from my experience of riding bike from last 15 years plus. Why I am saying this is I have taken test ride of dominar and have tried activating ABS on wet surface. Only reason I am saying here all this is your statement on your channel that ABS doesn't work on wet road is totally wrong. There are lot of videos shows about how ABS helpful on wet road. Hope you dnt mind me giving you this information. Take care ride safe
@EndRiders4 жыл бұрын
Yes you are absolutely right. I completely agree that ABS works in wet road conditions too. Just the breaking distance is increased. I understand that I over exaggerated in the video and bashed the ABS for knocking me down. I now realise that it was my fault that I expected to it work like dry roads. Simply because I lac experience with ABS. I am so much greatfull that you are trying to correct me. I also acknowledge that I should have thought properly before saying anything stupid in the video. Thanks for your support and watching my video. Also thanks for saying it nicely. I am really sorry for putting wrong information out there. I'll definitely improve in my next videos. I’ve been in doubt for long time about D400 2020 model. I’m pretty sure after watching your video that I’m getting it finally once the lockdown ends. P.S : I’ve already got the windshield and knuckle guards for it. 🤭🤭🤭

Very Nice review bro, you covered almost everything that an Indian looks in a bike. I have seen lots of videos on youtube on D400 but somewhere down they miss out on a few things but you explained it very well with all the practical answers along with experience-sharing. Surely I will buy Dominar 400 even though Dominar250 is also launched but I would like to know one thing about the bike and that is about the pillion seat and its comfort and do we need any other gadget to make it more comfortable and to me, in all pics and videos it looks very small so can you clarify on that little bit.
@EndRiders4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for watching and kind words ❤️ Pillion comfort is not that great in Dominar. This pillion seat will feel cramped up for tall pillions. Width wise, seat is more than enough to save pillion's butt. Problem is prolonged riding on pillion seat will result pain in thighs of pillion. Also the pillion foot rest is made of metal only, to which pillion is likely to slip. I would suggest to install longer pillion foot rest with rubber grip. Back rest will also help, not sure though.

bohat aacha tha video, information bohat saara mila,thanks bro,btw 2019 or 2020 dominar ke breaking same hai ya 2020 bs6 wala behtar hai?
@EndRiders4 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for watching 😊❤️ 2020 Dominar me breaking improve kiya hai aisa review videos me log bol rahe hai. Maine khudse kabhi BS6 version nahi chalaya par reviews me kabhi breaking ka problem nahi bolte. To I think, breaking improve kiya hai.

Can you please explain how an exhaust makes a bike go,right? Also abs wet roads ya gravel pe Kyu nahi Kaam arta? Abs is designed to not lock the wheels ! Barish me a brake dabayaa abs nahi hai to fisalega. Misleading contest.

Nice review bhai.. I have a dominar and I am planning to get this carbon racing visor. Just wanted to ask that the complete black visor restricts the vision or not.. from the eye level? The road is clearly visible near the front tyre also..?
@EndRiders4 жыл бұрын
Well, it doesn't feel like blocking anything. I can see the road clearly and it works well. And it looks great. Just littlebit vison is blocked in front of front tyre. Like, a pot hole, half meter infront of tyre, is not visible. But it's manageable. Thanks for watching 😊❤️
