Dominar 400 vs Dominar 250 Which One To Buy?

From a potential buyer's perspective: Dominar250 belongs to a different segment. What i want to know is D250's rating as a 200-250cc bike. Having that in mind while comparing D250 to D400 would be kinder to D250 and help us deciding. And is D250 power enough?

Dominar 250 is a sensible choice if you are a office guy. In the city, gear shift will be less compared to dominar 400. Heating issue will be less. Power delivery will be sufficient for city overtaking and on highway it will be great because person like me who stays in Kerala. Speed limit is 80 km per hour. If I got beyond it then fine will be there because of speed camera on the highway. Dominar 250 is great because of short gear shift interval. In dominar 400 gear shift interval is long. If you ride it at 80km per hour. You will feel engine stress and feel that you have to go upto 100km per hour or more. Dominar 400 is highly recommended for hilly roads like ooty, kumily etc. In dominar 250 chain issue is less compared to dominar 400 because of small back tyre size

I will recommend BMW but one more thing service cost of BMW is very high like D400 2500-4000 Max but BMW starts from 6500 and if part needs to replace it will be costlier. I rode both G310R and GS310R I liked GS310 specially for touring.

Very true said dominar 250 is very good decision. It's average is much better than dominar 400 .according to my view even you too cruse with the same decent speed as dominar 400 as far as cruising with high speed you can't go at such high speed every time so better decision is select dominar 250 pricrwise OK, average is OK, maintenance is OK, liquid cooled engine very good, it's better complete piece of mind than dominar 400 .

If you want to ride more in city and need mileage around 35-38 in city then go for D250.. Power is really good in D400 you will love it..

Hi I hv classic 350 re . Yes i m power hungry.. i felt lack of power on badrinath road..felt irritated.. Mostly my ride plan is 68% city for household purpose and 38% weekend rides like gurugram ( some times... Not every weekend).. Long rides are like 1nce in a month of 1nce n 2 months... So which options shd i go..long ride mein kahan Jana chahta hoon me going ahead like gangotri yamnotri, himachal mein spiti, kasol, Malana, leh etc.(proper luggage bhi hoga).. Power chahiye to Dominar 400 and yes highway rahega to mileage acha milega Dominar 400 me but city traffic chalu hogi to 20-22kmpl mileage milega and RE jitni comfortable nahi hai but bike chalane me maza aayega and yes 100-120-140 bike easily chala sakte ho..

Bhai bullet 191 kgs ki hoke sirf 20 bhp produce karti hai. Dominar 400 is heavy at 184 kg but it at least produces 40 bhp joki iske heavy weight ko compensate ache se karta hai. Even Sharks and tigers are heavy, but they're powerful too with good speed and agility like dominar is. But when something is heavy and not powerful enough, slow and lazy, less agile, and not refined it's a hathi like royal Enfield. A metallic bloated elephant

@@cric6007 RE isn't crap. I think the bullet 350 is. Meteor, Himalayan and the 650 twins are nice models. It does feel good to be on a bullet, but then the vibrations and shit , and lack of tech like fuel indicator which is so basic makes the deal shitty. Hence I prefer jawa more.
