Counterattacking plans for Pirc defense and King's Indian are a bit different as the Pirc prefers queenside play whereas the original King's Indian goes after the center and the king.

5:27 capturing with the knight is actually FINE cuz if the play c4, that's a blunder because Nc3 is check, after white takes the night he loses the bishop AND the rook. Pretty simple tactic actually.

5:31 No, feel free to capture with the knight. Your knight might be pinned but now if white tries to push his pawn, attacking your knight your knight can then sacrifice itself to give a check, unleashing your bishop and now you get white's bishop AND rook. If white's king moves out of the way from any knight checks, then you will have to play the ugly looking f3 move. That's not too bad though, you can just castle to protect your bishop and trade them off later

What about the knight taking the pawn at e5, we got pinned by the bishop though but after a move from white, we can actually play knight to f3, forcing white to take down our knight as we are giving him a check, after that we can simply take their bishop at b2 since the rook doesn't have any space to move, we can take the rook and being end up getting the bishop and the rook in exchange for our knight only. at 5:23

i just found a great move at 5:36, if they dont develop queenside knight, :Nd3+, d3x : Bb2x , and after a random move Ba1x wins a rook while trading down the horsey for the darksquared bishop

AFAIK there are 4 ways white develops against the Pirc _classical, where both knights in the center _austrian attack 4.f4 _150 attack 4.Be3 or Bf4 in order to commit Qd2, castle queenside, force trade with Bh6, kingside pawnstorm _Byrne variation 4.Bg5 And many many more sidelines as they can play just any random moves but still keeping initiatives😢

The king’s Indian is a great opening but most gm’s would say that it’s refuted so Hikaru doesn’t play it much anymore. Most gm’s play the nimzo or the grunfeld now, much more theory though so at beginner to advanced levels it’s really good

You can also develop knight to c6 although it is kinda more aggressive. A lot of people say that knight to c6 is harder to learn than knight to d7 but I personally think that knight to c6 has the same simplicity as knight to d7.
