The US Embassy door unlock cheese no longer works as of 5/14/2023. You can still get the unlock door prompt from above and holding F will play the unlock animation, but the door never unlocks.

@@adde006 You've been unlucky. I did it 3 times yesterday (May 14th). If I get killed, I just immediately run there the next spawn. Sometimes I also get a gold skull or documents. I've even done it with no weapons. I also get out quick by going up the ladder, across the room and out the door. Turn to your right, jump to the next building (north), and then go up to the roof of THAT building. Jump off and parachute to the North/NorthWest. There's a quad right there every time.

They only removes the direction your facing if you have a stealth if you don’t the advance uav will show what direction your facing

You can also get into the crypto room from the it’s own roof if you drop onto the exterior light that’s to the left of the window you can stand on it and then drop into the window. It’s tricky but in a pinch it’s an option.

You can also enter the crypto room by going inside the building and climbing out the window from the room upstairs next door to the crypto room and simply walking down the side of the beam that on the outside of the building

The "not main" US embassy entrance can be accessed via a ladder on the side of the building. you don't have to jump from CH 7

I’ve been playing DMZ since season 1, it’s pretty much all I play. What I find interesting and frustrating is there seems to be no consistency to how well I play. I’ll have a good day where I’m looted up, finish a mission, exfil etc and the next day I’ll die 10 times in a row. You KZbinr’s make it look easy and I’m jealous lol

Same here man. Its just plain luck.. youtubers spend hours and hours on the game and we see what they post.. only.. i´m sure they have the same problems we, "normal dudes" have. Maybe not as much because the more you play, the more you know things but, at the end of the day, they get the same stuff we do. What i dont undestand is why players kill players on sight, sometimes, whitout looting them even. Just the kill. For a guy like me, whos 45 with kids and sometimes all i get is half an hour on the pc to clear my mond, and not every day, its really frustrating and disapoiting..I like to do miossions solo and get killed randomly all the time. Some times, i dont even have the time to grab a gun from ai...

Some people just want to kill because they like it. I also don't like getting killed, but I realized a few days ago that that might be why I so very much like this game. The fear. It just feels like there's high stakes all the time, and that there could be real danger behind every corner. I wouldn't get that if there was no murderers. Getting the missions done is much more of an achievement and gets me feeling much better, when the stakes are high. So I thank the murderers! (although I do not straight after they killed me). And a tip for the end to get easier lobbies : play during the off peak hours, when there's less players, the game will start with less, meaning that it's more unlikely to stumble upon real players. I think it's 11 to 22 teams per match, and during the peak hours, always 22 teams on al mazrah.

@@inekeerma I undestand what you say and take away from the experience. Dont agree 100%. Most missions dont envolve other players. I play solo due to time restrictions and sometimes i just have a few moments to blow off some steam. Getting randomly killed for no reason does not strike me as a "normal" part of the game. But you are right. No one has nothing to do whith how i use the game and the gaming ideology now is like this, so if i want to play i´m the one who has to accept it. But that does not mean i agree or dont find it frustrating and disrespectfull, on my end of the map... Its kind of like gta.. "you play gta and dont want to get killed all the time by others and modders etc?" No. I bought the game to do my own stuff ant that does not envolve that kind of interaction. Maybe the 45 of age is kicking in and turning me into some old fart.. lol. The funny part of this is that i have a computer for gaming since 83 or 84 and, even trying to keep up with times, still feel like i´m off the grid or something.. Cant relate at all with new terms of on line gaming interaction..

Crane room, mall, embassy elevator, crypto room, airport, and prob some other are intentionally open. Ones that are most likely a glitch is the sniper room where you can get a stealth vest, the opening of any locked doors by going to side or top of door. They do these things to switch the game up a bit and make stuff a lil newish. Its good for everyone especially content creators.

I think (phixate thinks so too, so I'm not alone) that the game has skill based AI. So a better player will face more aggression from the bots. So if that's true, it just might be that you've done so well lately that the bots have started to be more aggressive towards you.

I feel you as far as the point about hording info. But some glitches only get found out because they get posted by KZbinrs. Like the crane control room has been like that since al mazrahs release but it'll get patched as soon as it becomes popular on here. Basically depending on the glitch that half of month you described is really months and months... Not saying we shouldn't share info saying we need to find a way to do so without the devs seeing it. Lol

Some people actually like to not exploit glitches and want to play the game by the rules it was meant to be played. I mean it depends on the glitch as well, if it's a glitch that gets you easy kills for example by somehow exploiting a glitch (like you hit a player you shouldn't be hitting), I'm not using that and I would hate people that do. Or if that's still something you'd like to use, consider if there would be a glitch that'd give you the nuke without making any kills in multi-player, resulting in instant wins? The thing is, getting inside locked spaces using a glitch will also give you advantage over other players that you shouldn't have by design. It's a multi-player game, it's understandable that some players don't want to get advantage that they should be getting, and those players will want the glitches to be patched so that no one else will either. And I just made an argument on that it's only a matter of just how big of an advantage that glitch is giving players, as everyone would be against that instant nuke glitch in multi-player. Or at least they should.

True it could be said that's unfair that they shot at Me and I wiped they team with stuff that they don't have but by that logic it's also unfair that you can load in with a three plate but I got to load in with one plate. We shouldn't be able to load in with stuff other ppl don't have like how we all drop in as equals BR... If DMZ was supposed to be equal we wouldn't have the ability to load in with different items. Beyond that I feel you. Would never use some cheating glitch to kill ppl unfairly. Don't understand ppl who buy cheats. But I'm not hurting anyone's gameplay by going zero to hero without a key.

That said, I would hate to look for some key for a long time, finding it and then when eventually getting in, finding the place already looted through a glitch, so I guess even though I'm using these, I think I'd still want them patched so that no one can use them. I just feel that there's a legitimate reason to want the game to be glitch free, even if it's a glitch that benefits the one using it. I like your monologue at the beginning. The crane control tower in Quarry for example, for the past month since I learned about the glitch there I go there and have yet to find it looted except maybe once. I've even gone into it towards the end of a match and it's still intact. Crypto room too. Even though people know about them there's still far fewer people who don't and the chances of having all the thousands of people who do know on the same map at the same time is impossible. There's likely to be minimum one or two of these areas untouched per match so people shouldn't worry about missing out.

Another good one is technically the castle. Spawn in with nothing but a thermite, collect guns off of bots and eventually hit an ammo depot to get a second thermite, then stick both thermites to the wheelson to kill it. Castle is huge with a lot of bots and traps but also a ton of good loot and a free comms vest from the bombmaker. You can get extra loot as well from heading down into the waterways from the castle basement and heading into the bunker and power station. One of if not the best way to regain gear and insured weapons after death.

i was using the dmz door unlock bug since release, took the community almost 3 months to figure it out. wasn't mad about it either.

The developers have been quick to fix this season. I had a spot to get decent equipment to gear up in Mawizeh Resort. I’ve been using it since Season One. Unfortunately, I showed someone in a random party, and it has now been fixed. I think I found another locked spot, just not consistent…it spawned a GPU twice for me. I was also able to get three plates and large backpacks from time to time. I don’t think It’s even a glitch, I just open the door and bingo. I’m not showing anybody…MWAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!

Having watched a lot of solo dmz'ers on KZbin doing just that, and I think it unfortunately just boils down to: be very very good at the game. There's a saying that 10 000 hours of anything and then you are. Simple as that, put in the hours 😂 Seriously though, I'd look for tips from multi-player or ranked mostly for winning those. There's a lot of instructional videos on how to practice your aim, movement and strategy. For my 2 cents on dmz, a stealth vest helps somewhat as the hunters are almost always using UAVs and it's a lot harder for them to hunt if they don't your exact location. Also getting in a fast vehicle and just escaping with that when they're not too close yet often works. And try to look for spots where you'll have a head glitch and they don't: remember that its you who gets to decide where you fight mostly as the hunts usually don't start that near. So use that to your advantage and prepare for the fight and try to find a place where you'd have the advantage on the environment if you don't have the means to escape.

Early on I was taking advantage of the free loot at the Sawah Hotel where you could get into room 303 and 302 from the roof. Not many seemed to go there until the end of season 1.
