Raja, you and I were the same. I was 14 in the vending business. Going to Reno at 17 (Harolds club) they knew I was too young but I played well, tipped well and was polite. I had pinballs and the first video games, the big ones Space Invaders, Pacman and Football. used small trash bins inside to hold all the quarters. Also had a few "Nudge" machines if you remember those until PD picked them up . Hope to run into you again (we met once at Cosmo).

3 to a royal or 4 to a flush you should always go for the royal! The few bets you miss out on is small in comparison to hitting the Royal.

WRONG WRONG WRONG. That is true on some games, but on Ultimate X the 4 flush is WAY more valuable because you get the 11X multiplier. On games like Double Double Bonus, the 3 card RF is usually wrong.. If you are dealt this: AsQsTs7d5s, you are supposed to keep all 4 spades.

The idea is you want as many opportunities to go for royals and you can not when you hold the 4th. I suppose it is up to each gambler in that sense. The safer play is holding 4.

Just a healthy dose of respect now that I know he’s a self made millionaire and not a trust fund baby. Owning a business myself it’s a good living but a ton of work and people don’t realize you have to know how to do everyone’s job in case they don’t come in, no matter how “lowly” that position may be.
