Baraka is almost never punished. Together with cameos like Kano-Stryker, it's a game killer. I don't understand why they made this freak like this in this game. I also think NRS or WB hates Sub-Zero now. This character was last strong in MKX with Scorpion, I don't understand why they have weakened and uglified the two main characters for the last two games. They should make Sub-Zero who is a strong burly fearless fighter like in MK9, MKX, Mortal Kombat 2021, Mortal Kombat Snow Blind.

When Sub-Zero freezes his opponent, the ice thaws very quickly, not like in the old games. You can also see that opponents often don't freeze even when they come into contact with the Ice Clone. It's not as powerful as in MKX. Speed, damage and other aspects are unfair to this character.

I'm pretty sure the easiest way they can fix his Ice Clone. Is to have anything the opponent does that's a hurtbox, count towards the hitbox of the clone. By this I mean if Baraka pokes with his arm blades. He gets frozen If ashra pokes with her sword, she gets frozen. If Shao pokes wit axe, you get the idea. If the game allows for you to be injured by these things, then they should be frozen if they poke. That's always been one of the main things with the sub clone, besides the corner. Don't poke

@@DondonIIit would be op, you’d never get ur turn back or be able to get around it. You already can’t jump. So sub zero will have his pressure and turn forever. People already spam tf out of the clone anyways. There has to be weaknesses to certain moves to balance things out. Sub zero can already do Ice clone all game and make it really hard to get in and he can counter zoning so yea imo just leave it the way it is, it’s good some characters weapon can break the armor.

@@ConsciousDee It would not be op the clone has 4 seconds of cool down. It can easily be countered by Oki even when armor is used, and it's because of these pokes that bypass clone. That allows half the cast to easily get a combo just because sub zero used a move. Do you forget that clone can be broken by armored moves? There are plenty of characters that have armored launchers or moves that can give them a full combo. Not only that but Sub-Zero cannot counter actual zoners. If you're facing a Liu Kang, as Sub using any other move besides your vapors or simply getting close becomes detrimental. Sub is the only character I can think of who has the slowest zoning besides Havik, his iceball requires that you predicted your opponent using a zoning move, and even then your timing has to be perfect with how long it takes Sub before he actually uses his ball. The ice Punch can't reach far enough to do no more than delete a projectile for you, but even then you can simply duck instead. Like I said, the whole point of Ice Clone is allowing Sub to control the pace of the match, and requires the opponent to be more patient. This change would actually free Sub from the requirements of a Kameo to fill in everything wrong with his kit, and it's just one move that still has a 4 second cool down.
