Was going to sing this with my school choir along with various other insanely beautiful songs and was the choir director's favorite concert they had ever arranged in all their years of teaching. Got cancelled because of COVID-19. I freaking hate COVID-19...this is all its fault!!!

Padre Giovanni Battista Martini nacque e visse tutta la sua vita a Bologna, presso il convento di San Francesco. Io abito a Ferrara, 45 Km a Nord di Bologna, vicino a Padova e a Venezia. Tutte città molto attive musicalmente durante il periodo barocco. Ferrara è la città natale di Gerolamo Frescobaldi (1583-1643), grande organista e compositore. Io ho studiato lettere all'Università di Bologna (Alma Mater Studiorum), la più antica del mondo, essendo stata fondata nel 1088.
