I think the rules were applied very loosely or, as Dominic says, KSI would have been disqualified. However, Tommy should have adapted to the conditions and tried an uppercut or a body shot, for example, as KSI rushed in.

I agree with Dom about comparing apples with pears. In terms of misfits being entertainment Vs the sport of boxing. However, I also think there's another angle. Pro boxing needs to do more regular matchups between the best established pros and more fights between the up and commers, instead of protecting the L. Also, the focus in the pro ranks is actually self defeating. Think about the time and energy that's gone into the last 12-18mths going on about Wilder, AJ - Fury, Uysk and Benn Eubank. I get the money and profile but the media and promotional attention is at the expense of the younger talent. Think about Conor Benn. Has done nothing championship wise and been found to have PEDs in his system. I know it makes a great headline but after that why isn't the industry hyping up other talent. There should be domestic fights on TNT and Sky every month where the fans are licking their lips or get to appreciate new fighters

On what planet would John Fury knock out KSI? I’m not saying KSI is in any way a good boxer but if Tommy can’t knock him out then there’s no way a 59 year old John Fury could do it. In Carl’s defence he did actually acknowledge that if you exclude the ‘boxing’ part of the event then there were some praiseworthy elements but the quote you’ve read to Dom doesn’t actually fully reflect what Froch said (which was absolutely accurate)

I agree with his view points but there are different styles of boxing now a days . KSI boxing method comes from Micheal Vemon Page "Karate stance" Its very unorthodox but I'm truly in love with Vemons direction he took from boxing. It's a game changer when done right. I understand that you must have a foundation of traditional boxing but I don't see a problem in how Vemon molded it in a way that works for other fighters.

But I still think he will struggle with a decent level boxer, but because as John fury says he often doesn’t take it seriously. I'm no boxer and everyone on Tommy's case he's admitted he's still a novice but Tommy has been fighting all his life while ksi has not and Tommy came to box but ksi came to clinch it was all in ksi favour even the ref Tommy got a point knocked off whereas ksi clinched all the fight and I saw ksi hit Tommy in back of the head numerous times yet ref never said anything to ksi..I suppose when one man wants to box properly and the other man clinches non stop it sort of makes it awkward for Tommy To do anything then ksi outburst afterwards ...I'm no fan of the Paul's but at least Jake boxed then took his loss like a man
