I'd love to see Dom as a head coach. I think Dom's style is unique and that uniqueness could continue to be expressed in fighters that he coaches, it would be exciting to see his style expressed in a next generation fighter.

Dom is a legend for real. Volk will have the cardio advantage for sure but Ilia's ability to return fire while taking damage is a problem for Volk who I believe has only one path for victory which is take Ilia down and ground and pound. However, age 35 and over at featherweight are 2-25 and under Middleweight is 2-28! Father time is undefeated and so is Ilia Topuria, i hope I'm wrong. I would Love, love, love to see Alexander the Great shut this kid up, but everything tells me the end is always swift and nobody sees it coming especially in fighting.

Great breakdown. I think it will come down to Volk's strength and if he can tie him up and take him down.. He'll use leg kicks to slow Ilia down, and he'll fancy himself to be strong enough to overpower Topuira and get him down. And there are few as nasty as Volk's from the top position. If he gets you on the mat, you're there for the rest of the round and he has great GnP

Nice analysis abot Volka avoiding right from Ilia. The beginning of the end was precisely a feint right hand: Volka throws left jab, covers his left head side with his right hand, but Ilia goes not up there but down to he body with his right, and then to the uncovered side of the head with his left. Volka had to go step back to the cage, and he was done there.
