Dom probably won against Jones 3 to 2 but he definitely lost any killer instinct after,he was young not really 30 or 31 but 12 and 0 and got a title shot after a few descent wins,then he got shut down and koed by top 10 hungry fighters,like he said he played sports but wasnt really built to be a fighter at that level for 5,10 years,his game is too predicable.And shame on Jon Jones for not capitalizing or he wasnt training or his was off steroids or whatever he could try to say that fight was a sparring match between 2 tall skinny guys thats it.

For a lot of guys, having less muscle with a little fat can improve their output due to the tremendous amount of lactic acid that’s built up when they have a lot of muscle. Love Dom man, a great athlete with a highly underrated skillset - just unlucky as shit. Both him and Santos were the two who should've gone on to rule the LHW division following Jones' departure especially seeing as how they both gave Jones his toughest fights, (with Santos arguably winning imo, and then with Dom 100% being robbed of a win), but unfortunately they were both pretty much cursed after Jones left. Santos had a bagillion knee injuries from that fight with Jones and when he came back he was a shadow of his former self, and then Dom started getting chinned by everybody, (though that Jiri elbow-ko would've ko'd anyone no matter how good their chin was). So happy to see Dom get a win recently, especially against a very underrated and dangerous guy like Jacoby
