To God be the glory for leading me to this channel.. Till recently, I consider drinking water during fasting as a no fasting. All I knew to be proper fasting is to go without water or food . In fact, I had fasted 3days and 2 consecutive nights in my youthful days, without water or food. On the 3rd day I could only drag my feet to walk. The Lord graciously helped me knowing my ignorance, but the evangelist with who I fasted ended up stooling blood. He would have died, but for God 's intervention. Thanks for this enlightenment, sir. I'm in love with this ministry right now.

How to Fast Successfully 1. Set to Goal Decide the purpose of the fast Fasting is consecration. 2. Duration and Type Decide the type of fast you want to engage in and how long you will be in. 3. Commitment and time and yourself to it and don't break it. If you break it for any reason, add days to make up. Once you start a fast, you will experience Satanic attack, the flesh will fight you, Ask the Holy Spirit for grace and enablement to start and finish successfully.

I've been doing the Daniel fast every January for years and today I realize that each fast has its purpose, I was never challenged as I'm not much of an eater anyway. You've helped me understand that a fast is about more than just watching what to eat or not, that's makes it a basic diet. A fast is about seeking God !
