Mrs. Perkins, I understand you missing those holidays with your daughter. My only child (daughter) passed 2 years ago this past 15th of September. We always cooked big meals together on holidays and sent food with our guests. She's gone, but she blessed me with three great young men, so I'm still blessed, and I thank God for the almost 50 years I had her and the sweet memories she left us with.

I am so glad i stumbled upon this channel it is really food for the soul and so genuine. I like how you are raising him to be humble because that goes a mighty long way. Don't know where you reside but i LOL when you spoke about the first mention of snow or ice and milk, eggs and bread are gone. The area I reside in had an ice storms years ago that caught people off guard and after that happened i said "never again" And i started buying any shelf stable foods I caught on sale so when the pandemic hit I never missed a beat.
