-What type of program are you in & how long is it?
I just graduated an ADN (Associate in Nursing) program at my state college & the program was a total of 2 yrs; however, it did take me 2 years to complete my undergrad work to get into the program so it has been a total of 4 years. I am currently taking my BSN (Bachelor) classes. Once graduated with my Bachelors in Nursing I will continue on my nursing journey until I reach my Doctorate degree!

Keeping busy when i get sleepy is what really helps me, like I will tidy the main area or tv room, restock rooms when I go in them to do rounds, check trash, clean surfaces with disinfect wipes. Just anything i know they don't have time for during the day.

I kind of like the slower pace because, I’m an introvert it gives a lot more time for learning and your not being so harsh on your body.

Yes! However there are a few restaurants and bars that stay open late near my hospital so some nights I am about to Uber Eats 😭😂

I’m going to do night shifts and not sure how to balance studying and shifts so my body doesn’t k.o on me and it’s also a 7p-7am shift

I would crash at around 1-2am🧟‍♀️ & revive around 4-5am when I worked night shift. Then when I go home I can’t sleep lol. I don’t miss it.

what floor do you work on, I am a nursing student and i very curious as to why American nurses have different scrubs(color wise) . As a nurse are you allowed to wear any kind of scrubs(color wise) for your shift or their is a color code given out every week :) Thanks Dom

This video was published when I was a Nurse Extern only working 2 days out of the month so it wasn’t hard to get away with. Also, my management was not very strict regarding nails. Now as a nurse I prefer shorter nails because I can maneuver throughout my shift alot easier. I hope this helped clarify 🧡
