Made a conscious decision to elevate my style a few months ago... Suddenly began to notice that I was getting way more attention and better service when I went anywhere! People smiled at me and older men gave me that 'checking you out' look. Huge noticeable difference. I was in a shopping mall and a younger woman came up to me and told me how great I looked and wanted to know where I got my shoes (Vizzano pointy toe heels) - talk about an ego boost. I have now gone through all my clothes and turned them into outfits. Once I got started it was easy, so much fun and I already had 95% of everything I needed. Now I am becoming that 'shoe' woman (you know the one...) I am 64. Ha!

This is one of my favourite videos of yours, Dominique; love that it is loaded with so many good suggestions! I‘m travelling (carryon only) later this month, and am taking one purse with three different straps - 2 (shoulder and crossbody) that came with the bag, and a guitar strap that I picked up in Barcelona last Fall. One purse, three ways. Also couldn‘t agree more about how Banana Republic has come into its own again style-wise after a loooonng break. Love the channel. As a fairly large breasted woman; if there is ONE thing (aside from all the important points you made:) it would be NOT to buy bras without adjustable straps! I see these ads on KZbin for "miracle bras" and of course there's no adjustable strap... Meaning, two months down the road you find yourself with stretched out straps and no way other than cutting the straps & wearing like a halter, or doing a sewing adjustment. Good bras are everything! I'm in my 50s (soon to be out of them & freaking out a lil bit:) and my breasts look exactly like they did when I was 25 because my mother always said "do not go braless & do not RUN!" I sleep with a stretchy little bra or sometimes just my regular one, but it's made all the difference. That white outfit toward the end was INCREDIBLE.
