I knew Anthony growing up in Abilene graduated high school at Abilene High School in 1987 with him and our other classmates. He is and always has been a great person. He listens to what others say and seeks advice from others if he doesn't know the best answer for whatever the situation is. Especially when it comes to issues that affect the whole city. I am proud of you, Anthony.

I grew up playing Dominos! My Daddy passed away at the age of 93 and still could beat any of his friends, kids, grand and great grandkids! This is true what the mayor said and it teaches kids how to count! Wink just like Black jack! Thank you for highlighting daily life in our fabulous state!

Great great work on this episode. You will never truly understand the people of West Texas without spending a lot of time out there. Proud to say this is the standard where I grew up and hope it can remain that way.

These men are like the ones I grew up knowing and yes men like them were and are true hero's. Thank you Mayor William's for those true spoken words.

I'm an Abilene native and I do really think he's a good guy, but it seems like when he's not green lighting pointless public infrastructure projects he's raising the water bill and if he's not doing that he's apparently playing dominoes.

I paraphrase "I have a dream of when a man is not judged by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character" MLK was talking about this man! God Bless him.

I agree with Dave K, if only San Antonio had a mayor like Mayor Williams I think there would be less crime and a general feeling of my hometown coming together. I can remember back to the day when we hung out at one hamburger place every weekend. A drivein of course. This city is not the place I grew up and it makes me, as a native Texan, ready to move to Abilene. I always did like it there! Thank you Mayor Williams for your honesty and down to earth attitude which is missing in this society today!! God bless you and God bless Texas!

Great, great story. Made me cry. If only we had many more like him and them, America would be great again. They are heroes and they remind me of my Daddy(hardworking) and king of dominos. And that bbq sure looks good!! God bless you.
