Bonnies betrayal was not a surprise I never trusted her. Arvos betrayal was absolutely awful and one of the most hated characters in the entire franchise. Mikes betrayal was just sad and disappointing.

Kenny literally said the Bandits had been harassing them for weeks, key word there 'HARASSING'. They could've easily stormed the place at any given time and taken all of their supplies. But they knew they needed the motel group alive to get more supplies. So they knew they could never kill any of them.. until BEN the shtbird made a deal with them because of his complete lack of brain cells and disregard for anyone but himself. When that deal was made, he gave the Bandits ALL of the motivation they needed if the supplies ever stopped coming. Once they didn't get their last batch, they knew they could attack and have the upper hand. THINK and PAY ATTENTION ffs. So ultimately YES it is Ben's fault and there is absolutely NOTHING that will justify or excuse his actions. He was a coward and he was CONSTANTLY AND CONSISTENTLY putting the group in danger. He deserved to get dropped.

I never saw Lilly's actions as a betrayal. Everything that Lilly does can be linked to one driving motivator, the need to protect her group. In season one she knows someone is stealing meds. Her suspicions are Ben (if you save Doug) or Carley using Ben as a pawn (if you save Carley). The person stealing the meds is not just stealing them, they are doing so in a way that is thought out and calculated. They are messing with the official count so that even Lee, the guy who's been scavenging the meds, can't tell that the count if off. As demonstrated in the game Ben does not handle pressure well, and repeatedly makes dumb decisions in pressure situations. It was this inability to handle pressure that lead to his scheme being discovered by Lee. He broke the flashlight and panicked, and rather than come up with a believable lie for why it is broken, disposes of it. The game has also demonstrated that Ben, when not under pressure, is able to plan and execute complex schemes. He used Lilly's vulnerable mental state, and the constant friction between Lilly and Kenny as a smoke screen for his actions, knowing that if Lilly made any accusation that Kenny would side against her. Another thing to consider about Lilly is that she is not a bad person. While she is not entirely willing to help others, she avoids harming others except in defense of herself or her group. As things go down hill, she actually relies on Lee's moral compass more and more. This is best seen with the stranger's station wagon. If Lee agrees with Kenny to take the supplies then Lilly helps take the supplies as well. If Lee refuses to take the supplies then Lilly doesn't help Kenny take the supplies. Lilly knows someone is a traitor, she also knows that she is not at her best and relies on the one person she trusts, Lee, to investigate. Lee finds the bag of meds outside the perimeter and that kicks off the fight with the bandits. After the RV hits the walker she decides that that moment is a good time to deal with the traitor. And she is not entirely wrong in her suspicions of who the traitor is. If Doug is in your group, she accuses Ben. If Carley is in your group she accuses Carley, but makes it clear that she thinks Carely used Ben to take the meds. The death of Carley is tragic, but Lilly truly believes she is protecting the group from a traitor, and while she suspects Ben's involvement in the theft of the meds, she believes that by killing Carley she is freeing Ben of Carley's influence. The death of Doug is even more tragic as he dies protecting the real traitor. While the wrong person dies each time, it is not because Lilly is betraying the group, but rather trying to protect it from a traitor within the group. If there was any member of the group that Lilly has a personal reason to want to kill, it's Kenny. It was Kenny who smashed Larry's (her Dad's) head in. Yet Lilly never tries to hurt him. I think that this is because on some level she understands why Kenny did it, and maybe even agrees with it. That reason is the protection of the group, even though Kenny has repeated demonstrated that the only group he cares about is his own family. Even when she acts in her own defense and steals the RV I can see that she is still doing things to protect the group. She doesn't harm any of them, even though she has an opportunity to do so, and leaves the most capable member of the group, Lee, with the group. She either does this by forcibly ejecting Lee from the RV, or offering to take him with her and then when he goes to get Clementine takes the RV, leaving Lee with the group. In the telltale TWD games some characters have been shown to be able to survive in the world on their own, but do better in a group. Lilly (seasons 1 & 4), Jane (season 2 & 3), and of course Clementine (all seasons except 1) have this knack of surviving on their own. Others, not so much. These other people need the protections of the group to survive, and the group needs capable members to survive. By leaving Lee with the group she is improving the groups chance at surviving while trusting her own fate to herself. As for Lilly's actions in the final season, she is still driven by the same motivating factor, that of protecting her group, this time The Delta. Yes, she is harder, more willing to hurt and kill, but only when she needs to. Her objective is to take the kids from Ericson's Boarding School so that they can be trained in combat and put to use protecting The Delta. She wants them alive, not dead. When attacked she will defend herself and her group, even resorting to lethal force if necessary, such as killing Mitch. She is also more likely to hand out harsh penalties for those who don't cooperate and thereby put the Delta at risk. As for Ben and his reasons for taking the meds, I don't believe a word of it. He claims that the bandits said they had his friend, and there is never any on screen evidence of this, other than Ben's word. Before Ben joins Lee's group we only see him with one other kid (Travis) and a teacher (Mr Parker). Either the teacher remains caught in the bear trap and becomes Walker food, or the kid ends up as walker food. So who is this friend he is talking about. As both people we see Ben with before he joins the group are dead, and as Ben is intelligent enough to know this, it means that the friend must be someone we don't see, or just an excuse to elicit our sympathy. This leaves two possibilities. 1) That Ben was a bandit plant all along. Possibly he, Travis (the other kid at the bear trap) and Mr Parker (the one caught in the bear trap) were victims of the bandits and coerced into being plants, and that the bandits really did have a friend of Ben's, but then why not ask for help from the group. There is plenty of off screen down time moments (and some on screen ones) that he could use to approach someone, anyone, to seek help in rescuing his friend. If Ben was a plant all along then it was always his intention to steal from the group. It is also possible that Ben, Travis, and Mr Parker were willing members of the bandit group all along in which case they were not coerced into stealing the meds from Lee's group but did so because that was his objective all along. 2) That Ben, Travis, and Mr Parker really were just wandering in the woods when we found them and not connected to the bandits, yet. However this means that at some point off camera Ben met with the bandits, entered into an agreement with them, returned to our group and then planned and executed his efforts to steal meds. If this is the case then he was either approached when on watch, when other group members were not present (meaning he wasn't doing his job properly), or he left the barricades alone for some reason and met the bandits away from the motor inn. In either case, why not mention having contact with the bandits and ask for help rescuing his friend. Ben is not stupid. Yes, he makes stupid decisions when under pressure but there is plenty of both on screen and off screen down time where he is not under pressure, as evidenced by his ability to plan and execute stealing the meds, and messing with the official counts and doing so on multiple occasions. If he is being coerced then he is intelligent enough to know that the meds will run out and that once the meds run out, then his usefulness ends, and he and his mystery friend are as good as dead. He would know that he is on a timer to save himself and his friend, and that the only option he has to do that is to trust Lee's group and ask them for help. He never does this. This suggests to me that Ben, Travis and Mr Parker were members of the bandit group all along.

We should've known Bonnie wasn't above betraying kids and people she's known for a good amount of time, I mean, she literally betrays all of Carver's group (including Shel and Becca, who is a kid, if they are in it) because of what Carver does. She doesn't even try to get them out. She betrays her friends or at least allies so easily and goes on as of nothing happened. She was always bad. Even as far back as 400 days, she was probably the worst (morally) of the protagonists of that game, and one of them was literally going to prison.

In twd season 2 at the end I killed Kenny and I loved Kenny man but I just didnt want anyone else to die and once I realized what I had done I got really mad at myself and started crying really hard. But I kept thinking to myself I saved someone's life. But OH MY GOD whenever I figured out Aj was alive I really wish the game gave me an option to shoot Jane. I cried for hours on end after that. Through the whole last part of the final episode I was crying and even when I finished I felt so guilty and like I was a failure and that I let Lee down. I swear these games have a toll on you. You try to think its just a game but god dang are these games filled with emotion. Sorry I got a little off topic but I just wanted to share this.
