-Succeeded Viv Campbell as guitarist in Sweet Savage age 16. Has subsequently forged a solo career in the Blues as the best player to come out of Ireland since Rory Gallagher and Gary Moore.

@@CB-xr1eg Point is .. without Blackmore this would of never happened, so many greats moved from nothings to Immediate Stardom because of 1 man > Blackmore no ifs ands or buts about it. They would have all had careers no doubt successful ones, but being with Blackmore once, moved them to the top and they have ALL been employed by other greats, or gone onto successful solo careers since, and able to get the best musicians with them because of it.

Nice pipes. Don excellent as always; First time was with Rainbow in '79. You can see it on youtube: Capitol Theater, Passaic, NJ. I was there. One of the best RB performances I've seen; the only All Brit lineup.
