Great, great video! When I see Messi it's obvious that what he does is impossible. Nobody can do what he does and it sometimes looks so difficult you wonder why he even tries. But with Iniesta nothing ever looks difficult. He makes even the most difficult task look easy. I don't know how many times I have seen him stand on the sideline under pressure and seemingly dribble his way even further out to go past his man without ever having the ball go over the line. It's like the pitch is bigger when he needs it. He is like a liquid, getting into places where you didn't know there was any space. I've always said young players should look at Iniesta. They can watch Messi all they want but they will never be able to do what he does because it's physically not possible. Iniesta is what football looks like when you have mastered all the basic skills of the game. Perfect technique when it comes to receiving the ball, passing the ball and dribbling the ball. And he reads the game better than almost anyone. A lot of great people I have never met have made my life better by doing what they do, and Iniesta is one of them. I wish to one day just shake his hand and say thank you for making life a little bit more beautiful.

watched this like 4 times over..i know it's like my 50th comment..but just wanted to share smth here..I personally believe Andres Iniesta could've played for Barca till the age of 36 at minimum. Being very honest with you i think the general direction the club was taking is what pushed him away..it's not an issue of his body not being able to give the team anymore..that's BS. players like Iniesta don't rely on physique. I think he just couldn't take it anymore..the poor recruitments..the tension between the squad and board..and just found it best to leave. Look at David Silva at Manchester City. Balling out as if he's 25 years of age.. he's 32 tho. it all comes down to systems. If Iniesta was at City playing possession based football, i can guarantee you he'd probably hit 37 years of age still playing because that type of football doesn't require immense running and heavy ground coverage..it's only when you resort to LuchoEsque football that you have to produce Kante-Esque numbers and that is where Iniesta cannot prosper. his years under Lucho gave people the impression that he was finished, when in reality it was Luchos rapid direct football that wore iniesta out as he isn't made for the running..Anyway, it's all over. He's with Vissel kobe now and all i can say is thank you god for having giving me the privilege of being able to see Andres Iniesta Lujan PLay.
