What they're doing with this story is incredible. Takeshita has been my favorite newly showcased wrestler for awhile. I’ve been watching wrestling since 1984 when I was 6 years old I’m 45 now so it’s been nearly 40 years and I have never heard a crowd like that in my life. Not even Vince McMahon at the height of his feud with Stone Cold generated that kind of hatred and those crowds used to be rabid in the late 90’s. Don Callis has always been a great heel but my god this was no ordinary heel reaction. The only thing that I can think of that came close to this was when Hogan joined the NWO. At the start of the New World Order Hogan would get booed out of every single arena and there would be trash all around the ring.
