Kings Of Comedy is simply the title of a movie. The four comics in the film are not supreme over other comics. The title King is reflective of where we came from and who we are. The black man is a King. These comics were selected for the film because they are funny and they had a telivision audience already in place. By selecting these four comics it would almost ensure a blockbuster film. Smart business. The reality is, any one of the four comics could have been interchangeable comics. People suggest they were the four best comics in the game at the time. Well, that's not true we have numerous talented Brothers at the time, who are hilarious and could have been in the movie. Epps, Rock, T to the MotherF....n K, Tucker, Griffin, and thats the short list. The film is what made their names roll out of our mouths with ease. That film is very very old. And we are still talking about it. The film made them mega comics. So sad that all these millionaires can't call Spike and make theirs own movie. What's even more sad, is people think we only got four kings of comedy. All these Brothas is KINGS! I know, Bernie didn't have a show yet. And what's your point. All, interchangable, because we are abundant. Stop limiting us and puting this one vs. that one. We Blessed with Abundance.

I think DC Curry should have been on the Kings of Comedy. If it had to be 4, I think Steve was great fit as host. Ced had that cool story telling style that drew you in. Bernie had those facial expressions and that no no-nonsense comedy that was undeniable. Not knocking DL, but to me he did more laughing at his joke to sell it then just went to the crowd. I just never was a big fan of that style.
