This is an excellent display of why don is such a legend in my eyes. Everything he says-he means. This speech has Got me thinking about how absolutely blessed I am to have a father like my old man. Having a strong and moral father is about the most important thing that a young boy can have growing up . My pops is real similar to don. He is wise, sharp as a tack, and stronger than anyone I know. He’s my best friend and has a big heart, but I pray for anyone who is dumb enough to cross his family. They truly don’t make em like they used to. Nowadays it’s no good cowards walking out on a pregnant woman and sheep who are so ignorant that they actively try to give their rights away-and take the rights of others worse yet. But I try to make him proud, and I will consider it a blessing if I can be half the man my dad is someday. Thanks for being a great representative of our community, a great role model to young folks, and a man who isn’t afraid to speak up and speak loudly about the TRUTH. God bless.

Don I checked you out because my brother told me that you are an expert in managing small properties. I did not expect to see this video. I am 60 years old and have been an avid bowhunter for 50 years. As a Baptist Deacon and Sunday School teacher I am pleased beyond words to hear your testimony. Well done brother. God Bless. BTW, the one and only article I ever wrote and had published was done by Gordon Whittington in the January of 1996 North American Whitetail. I killed my first deer in 1977 after hunting for 7 years. Our paths have so much in common but the greatest of that is our faith. Keep up the ministry. I have a LOT of videos to check out!

Beautiful message. Keep up the amazing work! I understand your passion. I finally got a buck Sunday morning and first thing I did was knelt and wept thanking God for the opportunity. And then called my dad to celebrate with him

If a man can watch that and not feel the passion and sincerity then he’s not breathing! Definitely needed this today, just lost my cousin due to a stroke last night and sometimes a man needs reminding and guidance. Thank you for the way of explaining what god already knew I needed to hear. Good luck this year!

I fall back on this video time and time again. I am a sinner and am not worthy of christ but yet he finds favor with me and has blessed me with a wonderful family and blessed me beyond words! Just like he put Her in my life there's a reason I keep coming back to this video. Your words really hit home and I don't just listen, I take them to heart. Thank you for being you and with a strong heart in faith 1 Corinthians 16;13

Fantastic video. It made me think of my dad who told me when I was 12 years old and got my first gun, a 12 gauge, not to EVER step foot off our property and onto some ones else land, for any reason. And to this day I live by that rule. But I have yet to meet another hunter that I allow sometimes to hunt here to take out a certain buck, that will do the same. They always want to walk out over the edge on of my beans and corn and look down the fence line. Soon as the cameras catch them, they are told they can never come back. And they better be coming down out of that tree at the end of shooting time too.
@russelllangworthy88552 жыл бұрын
You can't always come down out of your tree at the end of legal shooting time. You often have to wait until well after dark for the deer to move off so that you can climb down without alerting them.
@TheRaghorn2 жыл бұрын
@@russelllangworthy8855 For the most part your answer is a BS excuse. Yes, maybe if a buck is in your site, you will wait a few minuets for him to walk off, but remember its dark. How the heck do you know if there is another huge buck 50 yards or even 20 yards from you. You cant see them. Or lets say you wait until all is clear, get down and walk 60 yards and now you hear the crashing of a deer that you have spooked. It could even be the monster you have been chasing. Your answer is nothing but an excuse to shoot something after legal hours if the chance comes. Again, it is a BS excuse.
@russelllangworthy88552 жыл бұрын
@@TheRaghorn I've never shot a deer illegally in my life, but thank you for being so polite. You're probably right, though. I've only been hunting for 57 years. I don't know what I'm talking about.
@TheRaghorn2 жыл бұрын
@@russelllangworthy8855 Of course, only an idiot would confess to poaching. And 57 years hunting dont mean shit. I know others hunting that long, that would shoot a deer after hours as fast as you can light a match, or shoot across a property line, because they think its too dark for anyone to see them. Time does not create morals, not does it always give to you experiance or knowlege. I know a lot of stupid hunters out there our age. Just look at how many 50+ hunters shoot their buddies, granchildren, etc. And I am not here to be polite to BS comments from a throne.
@russelllangworthy88552 жыл бұрын
@@TheRaghorn So, no further response? Actually, YOU are full of BS. You obviously don't know how to hunt.

Amen! I have had people call me a poacher and everything else you can imagine.... I've even in my hunting career been denied access to my deer because it's crossed the property line the property owners were hunters and new I was a serious Hunter and if I shot a buck it was probably a big one.... My faith has been tested too and I never really looked at it like that when you're in the moment it's hard to... I guess the right thing is to pray for those people but it's easier said than done at times.. But you are very right sir hope to cross paths with you someday! Keep doing what you're doing you haven't said one thing that I haven't disagreed with and several things that are exact things I have thought or have done it's kind of cool.
