This man is a real music man.. I remember 2001 on a trip from a place called Portsmouth in the south of England, everyone was tired after the party including the coach driver and this man took the microphone that the coach driver used to address the passengers and he sang and chat lyrics from Portsmouth to London just to keep the driver awake to bring us back safe. Nuff respect Mafia.

You make them feel so comfortable they just wanna spill everything instead of being blunt & reserved. I especially love when you say "den gi we a lil piece of that song nuh?" and when they began to sing, you start to chime in, nodding, rocking & singing along...pure fun & I just loved every minute...keep up the magnificent work you're doing...I'm a huge fan!

Mafia wrote some songs for Beenie. Beenie was supposed to license the music and put Mafia's name as the writer or in some cases the co-writer, so that Mafia could be getting his publishing. If you don't know how it works, writer's publishing/royalty can be more than that of the singer. Mafia came public a few years ago accusing Beenie of not ensuring that he gets credit and subsequent publishing for the songs that Mafia wrote. If what Don Mafia is saying is true, Beenie is guilty of the worst kind of intellectual property theft and it is not too late to have his legal team fix the matter. Your publishing is your pension and Beenie would be guilty of robbing Don Mafia's children's legacy

The way I see it Beenie wanted this man to be the ghostwriter. He was supposed to be his secret ammunition behind the success. Beenie knows Mafia is talented and possibly was intimidated by this. That’s why at times, business and friendships cannot mix. One has to draw a line, usually in the form of legal documentation to have in order to combat the problem. Big up Mafia I love and write music myself, and would be beyond angry if my talent was being used yet treated as if I was nothing.

Part 2 should be very interesting from what we saw in Part 1. The first installment was a roller coaster of emotions and being a good storyteller Mafia pulled us along effortlessly. We had a front seat view of his life as it unfolded and we either laughed or cried with each new development. Although unspoken, Mafia's interview made me understand why the 80's and 90's Dancehall artistes were so good. There were so many obstacles between them starting out and ending up in a studio to record that only the most determined and the most talented usually made it to the ear of the consumer. The fittest survived. My respects to Teach for opening the window into the lives of these artistes allowing us to see the things that shaped them.

@@rqztaz I agree with you. But, remember that certain channels on social media is pro certain lifestyle and behavior. They push certain agendas and remove comments that expose those agendas! I heard of instances where comments about a certain mode of dressing being pushed by certain designers belonging to certain group get removed. Even while worse comments are allowed from tge main two political groups up north!. CERTAIN PLATFORMS HAVE CERTAIN AGENDAS!

Maffia has a pure heart. He is humble and kind. Perhaps, he is too kind. When you have a free hand, unscrupulous people view you as being week and stupid. So, they take disadvantage of you. But time is the master of everything. As my grandmother used to say, "If you stick around long enough, you will see the chickens come home to roost."
